Raised far from the gravitational pull of dance music hubs, Dallas-born Decoder developed his craft outside traditional DJ circuits, shaping a singular voice defined by independence that remains central to his sound today. First opening Fruity Loops at the age of ten, Decoder's relationship with electronic music began free from expectation or institutional pressure. His early productions were guided as much by video game soundtracks, synth-pop and rhythm as by techno itself, resulting in music that is light and inquisitive. That playfulness has endured. Over time, his productions have evolved, with a distinctive sci-fi-feeling that's grounded in the techno's founding principles. Drum-led, full-bodied and often carrying a quiet melancholia, his discography draws a clear lineage from Detroit techno's futurist restraint and experimental traditions, all the while still resisting easy categorisation. Influences range from the microtonal explorations of Aleksi Perälä to the hypnotic patience associated with Perlon-era minimalism and Ricardo Villalobos, all filtered through an instinctive sense of play. Early support from Richie Hawtin and Jeff Mills affirmed his commitment to this direction, recognition many artists work years to achieve. In the DJ booth, Decoder treats performance as a direct extension of the studio. Sets are often built largely from unreleased material, functioning closer to live testing grounds than traditional DJ performances—ideas are trialled, stripped back and reshaped in real time with close attention to the room. After formative experiences at warehouse parties and renegade events across Texas, he began touring internationally while still in his teens, logging sets at the likes of De School, FOLD and Watergate. 2025 marked a significant turning point, with an acclaimed set at Waking Life and his debut at Berghain. Alongside releasing on established labels, Decoder runs two imprints: Codec, a community-focused platform for collaborative projects, and TOCA, a more purist, physical-only label emphasising longevity and restraint. His forthcoming album Prakasa, released on Planet X, represents several years of studio development and reflects his continued interest in cohesion across time, genre and form. Now operating internationally, Decoder represents a measured reinvention of techno, one that looks forward without severing ties to the past. Retaining the independence forged in Dallas warehouses and DIY parties, he remains an artist shaped not by trends, but by curiosity, patience and a disciplined belief in the power of simplicity.Their RA profile lists Axis Records, Delsin, Subsist, Blank Code and 2 more.Recently at Berghain, Kater, Latitude Record Store · often with Claudio PRC, jay york, Richard Akingbehin, none of them here that night
“The DJ, live act and sound designer has built her relationship to music continuously throughout her life.”
their own biography
the whole biography
The DJ, live act and sound designer has built her relationship to music continuously throughout her life. Originating from an inner well, it developed through experience and experimentation rather than fixed methods or concepts. As a live act, Joline immediately extends her studio ideas into performances, presenting primarily unreleased, pure material. Both live and DJ sets inspire movement and form intuitive bonds with the audience and the dancefloor. Invoking a sense of mystery and obscurity, nature is present in the artist’s work. Often described as "Swedish woodland Techno," her music references the expansiveness of Scandinavian nature. A structured rhythmic drive combined with atonal fragments, feedback loops, and heavy reverbs is her signature. Hooks appear inside the structure of the music and almost like spells, she builds atmosphere and depth. With that, Joline operates in the deep and driving corners of Techno and shapes immersive narratives with clarity and strong club focus. Beyond music and sound design, she has devoted her life to developing the tools themselves, both the hardware and the software behind electronic instruments. Joline has recently released EPs on italian imprint, KSR. She also appears on EXEKUTE, SK-11 and H.Productions to name a few.Their RA profile lists H-Productions, SK_eleven, Room Trax and re:flect recordings.often with Pulsinger, Make A Dance, Beste Hira, none of them here that night
“Kangding Ray’s complex sound aesthetic tests boundaries, evolving tirelessly in its exploration of texture, rhythm, and sound design.”

Kangding Ray’s complex sound aesthetic tests boundaries, evolving tirelessly in its exploration of texture, rhythm, and sound design. KR has remixed artists such as Martin Gore and Ben Frost on Mute, Battles on Warp, Oscar Mulero on Polegroup or Inigo Kennedy on Token. Letellier’s foundations in rock and musique concrete give his music a vitality and uniqueness that has won fans the world over, from discerning avant-garde–electronica listeners, all the way to devoted clubbers. Those who have been following Letellier since his debut album, 2006’s Stabil, will recognize not only his meticulous and constantly developing approach to sound design, but also the conceptual gravity behind his releases. Through a string of recent EP’s and albums, culminating with the critically acclaimed “Solens Arc”, KR showed his ability to keep his artistic approach while delivering direct and powerful club-leaning tracks and darkly cinematic soundscapes. On 2015’s “Cory Arcane”, he pushed the limits of his sound even further. Relinquishing standard rhythmic structures and conventional tonal models, he delivered what is perhaps his most sophisticated release yet; a raw and visceral universe, allowing a more fluid dialogue between soul and machines. 2017’s “HYPER OPAL MANTIS” released on Stroboscopic Artefacts heralds a new era for Kangding Ray, where he explores the tension between the natural and artificial, the body and mind, which are central themes in electronic music in general, and Techno in particular. The means of creation, focused around technology and interactions with machines, contrast with the emotional response to sound, the mystical ritual of collective dancing, and the ethos of liberation and tolerance embedded in the culture it has produced. As he describes it himself in a recent interview : “I’ve been evolving since a couple of years at the outer fringes of the club culture, where it overlaps with different experimental and avant-garde genres. While i intend to continue to explore that zone as a free maverick, i also wanted to give something back to the scene, something strong, beautiful and functional at the same time, while retaining enough personality to be exciting.” ( Adapted from words by Vincent Morris)Their RA profile lists Mute Records, Warp Records, Raster-Noton, Token and 6 more.Recently at Tresor / Globus, Berghain, Genezareth-Kirche · often with Ne/Re/A, Berghain, Clarisa Kimskii, none of them here that night
“machìna is a Korean artist based in Tokyo.”
their own biography
the whole biography
machìna is a Korean artist based in Tokyo. Her music is deeply personal and rooted in selfhood, yet best experienced amidst the collective effervescence of a nightclub dance floor. Her compositional style is thoughtful and playful, hinting at her love of jazz, which can be seen in her confident modular improvisation when she performs live. Her vocals are pronounced and note-perfect, forged in the regimented training she underwent during her time as a K-Pop artist. Through this collaboration of technology, analogue systems and vocals, she is developing her unique style of electronic music. As a regular performer with MUTEK Japan, she is expanding her sounds into the world of multi-media experimental art, and her most recent performance at MUTEK Montreal was to great acclaim, which led her on the path to play at the SILVESTER KLUBNACHT at the Halle stage in Berghain at the end of 2022. In 2023, machìna was an integral part of the From Our Minds – To Be Announced 2023 tour, playing her newly developed live techno set to sold-out crowds across Europe and The USA alongside Richie Hawtin. The basis for this live set has been a year-long experimental project, Action, a series of dance tracks released periodically throughout the year, inspired by the defining harmony of rhythm and sound. These independent releases have been met with a buzzing reaction both on the dance floor and across mixed media, with the track 'Respect' being featured in a recent Miu Miu campaign and 'choom' being used in the Nike Campus campaign of 2024. Her unique style has led her to be picked up by brands including Prada, Miu Miu, Nike, Red Bull Music, Vans, and Shiseido for creative collaborations that highlight her ability to interweave the worlds of music and fashion. Some key events include playing a live set at the Prada Extends Tokyo event curated by Richie Hawtin (2022), headlining for the Miu Miu Club in Tokyo (2023) as well as being chosen as part of the NIKE X ACRONYM global campaign and as an ambassador for the MMW x NIKE Yoga collection. In 2021, she was asked to contribute to a compilation album 'Trasor30' by the record label Tresor of the legendary club in Berlin. Her vocals were featured on the widely popular track 'Hawk' by British electronic music duo Bicep, around the same time her debut EP 'Trusted' was released on London's UTTU label. After releasing the full series Action in 2023, she is building tracks for her next full-release album.Their RA profile lists fabric Records, Ninja Tune, Tresor and Unknown to the Unknown.Recently at Loone, RSO.BERLIN · often with Xiorro, Selected, HOME AGAIN, none of them here that night

“Nastia, the Ukrainian DJ whose real name is Anastasia Topolskaia started her career in 2005.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Nastia, the Ukrainian DJ whose real name is Anastasia Topolskaia started her career in 2005. In a short time, she became a curator of KISS FM stage and a resident at the legendary Kazantip festival, she also hosted her weekly live radio show from 2006 to 2016 on the aforementioned radio station. In 2010, she was offered residency at Moscow’s cult Arma17 club. Inspired by the club’s team and their project, Nastia began to organize her own parties in Ukraine. After gaining experience and recognition, Nastia, together with the team of Closer, the famous club in Kyiv, created the Strichka festival in 2014, which runs to this day. A year earlier she launched a vinyl label Propaganda Records, which quickly gained a strong presence in modern house music. Her career developed rapidly: she appeared on the covers of MixMag and DJ Mag magazines, recorded an Essential Mix and was a resident of BBC Radio 1, regularly spoke at many conferences such as ADE and the International Music Summit, frequently performed for Boiler Room and later made appearances on Berlin’s famous radio HOR. In 2019, Nastia concluded the Propaganda Records label as it no longer suited the directions where she was headed. Whilst getting serious about techno music, Nastia created a new label – NECHTO. The name itself is an anagram of “ techno” and translates as “something else” from origin. During the pandemic, Nastia kept herself busy and became the first resident of the Beatport Residency project, where she presented the majority of Ukrainian producers and DJs, and released two seasons of her self-authored projects on YouTube. One of them is True Talk, where she interviewed Ukrainian colleagues, and the second is an audio-visual project Scary Beautiful, where Nastia played selected demo tracks sent by both young upcoming producers and well-known respected musicians. The sets were recorded in unique locations. After the project aired, Nastia released the music that she played on her label. In 2020, Nastia teamed up with a large Ukrainian organization Qievdance that focuses on events. Together they launched NECHTO raves at various previously unused industrial locations. These massive events instantly became famous around the world as both the visual content and success of the brand accelerated. In addition to house and techno, Nastia is a true fan of jungle and drum and bass music and has included these genres in her performances since 2007. She performed at dnb festivals such as SunAndBass, Hospitality and at the dnb stage “Booha” of the Romanian festival Electric Castle. In 2020, she interviewed Goldie for the print version of the British MixMag, and performed in this genre twice at MixMag Lab. All these years, Nastia’s activities were aimed at popularizing Ukrainian culture and local artists, which made her the face of the Ukrainian electronic music scene on the global stage. Nastia is a rare example of how great success can be achieved solely by DJing, ideas and hard work – so far she is the most touring and popular DJ in the history of Ukraine. She performs at key venues around the world and takes an active social and political positio. In 2022, due to the war in Ukraine, she temporarily moved to Amsterdam and actively supported Ukraine using all of her social instruments, and also opened her own fund to help Ukraine. Currently, she continues to actively perform and represent Ukraine at various dance, media and official platforms.Their RA profile lists Nilla, Kvadrat and TECHNO Records.Recently at Tresor / Globus, Quantum Oddity Gallery, RSO.BERLIN · often with TRESOR, GLOBUS, Natalie Robinson, none of them here that night
