Milan Hermess is a Berlin-based DJ and promoter who co-runs the ever evolving Mechatronica, Bay Area meets Berlin’s Anima Sola Records and is founder of Fan Fiction, a club night and DJ cafe in the Berlin Friedrichshain area. Originally from the Netherlands, where Milan hosted techno parties in his hometown of Arnhem, he has been residing in Berlin since 2011. With over a decade of DJing experience, Milan is a true vinyl enthusiast and devotee to all that is music and nightlife. Heavily influenced by the West Coast Sound of Holland and Berlin’s nightlife culture, his mixes cover a broad spectrum within alternative dance music. Eclectic, yet thoroughly selective, his sets are layered experiences bridging the gap between electro, deep techno, acid and breakbeat. He’s an expert at taking you from deep Waters to high-octane intensity; playful yet dramatic, hypnotic yet euphoric. Championing his dancefloor-led sound, he whirls through a vast array of moods and genres from the past & present, showcasing both technical skill and respect & admiration for the art of DJing and it’s rich history. Years of DJing and working in the music industry lead him to host nights and perform at some of the world’s most renowned underground clubs like Berlin’s Griessmuehle & RSO, Renate, About Blank & OXI, Hamburg’s Golden Pudel, Athens’ Astron & Six Dogs, TES – Tbilisi, Channel Zero – Ljubljana, Bike Jesus – Prague & Exit – Glasgow and many more.Their RA profile lists Mechatronica.Recently at Tresor / Globus, OHM, Paloma · often with Aura Nox, ElectroDon, ROKK, none of them here that night

Now based in NYC after several years in Berlin, she earned a bright reputation in the scene as well for her long dedication to the dance music community and authentic love for music. With a broad style forged by long days of digging crates and stumbling upon all sorts of electronic music gems, mu”he’s techno sets move far beyond the latest subgenres, incorporating influences from 80’s Japanoise, 90’s old school rave and 2000’s left-field electronica. Her depth of knowledge allows her to build wide-ranging sets that meld cutting edge sounds with forgotten classics, interspersing tough physical grooves with moments of timeless dancefloor euphoria. mu”he’s style is imbued with the purpose of preserving the essential and treasured values of dance music that moves hearts and bodies irrespective of time period or genre. Moved in Berlin in May 2023, mu”he has been quickly booking appearances at some of Berlin’s best clubs and festivals across Europe in the last year–most notably: Berlin Atonal, Lunchmeat Festival, La Nature Festival, Whole Festival and an array of Berlin clubs including Berghain, Tresor, OHM and RSO. She continues to maintain a busy touring schedule in Asia as well, having toured Japan, China, Taiwan and Thailand in the last year. In May 2024, she founded her own label PARNASSUS with the vision of creating timeless dance music for bold, sexy, and free dancefloors and released her first EP featuring two original tracks and remixes by two of Japan’s most prominent producers: DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, a techno producer with close ties to Berlin’s legendary club and label Tresor since the 90s, and Mars89, a singular and important talent in Tokyo’s underground scene. Their RA profile lists PARNASSUS.Recently at Marmorbar, Lark, RSO.BERLIN · often with Mark Shephard, ROBUS, SUMME, none of them here that night
