CHUKWU is a former Olympic athlete whose passion and dedication now channel into vinyl only DJing. Her sound is firmly rooted in house, deep, groovy, and playful, keeping dancers present and engaged, while increasingly exploring techno spheres. Drawing on her background in sport, she brings a rare sense of rhythm, stamina, and focus to the booth. Every set tells a new story, unfolding with unexpected turns that keep the floor curious and moving, creating moments that move both body and mind.Recently at Jonny Knüppel, Crack Bellmer, Renate · often with Jana Falcon, Rosa Red, Pschukk, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Starting out as a hip-hop DJ, Annyrock honed her craft in the raw energy of breaking battles, developing a deep intuition for rhythm and dance dynamics. Over time, her journey led her into the electronic music realm, where she continues to seek the perfect key to unlock the pulse of every dance floor. Fueled by a love for deep basslines and infectious grooves, her sets blend techno, minimal, trance and house into immersive sonic narratives — each track a carefully chosen incantation. A devoted vinyl enthusiast, she digs relentlessly for hidden gems, weaving seemingly contrasting sounds into a seamless, textured, and subtly romantic story, where every beat feels indispensable. After shaping her sound within Ukraine’s finest, Annyrock left a vivid mark on the chronicles of the local electronic underground and has since made Berlin her home — a launchpad for expanding her musical journey worldwide.Recently at Tausend, Sonnenraum, Fitzroy · often with slin, HOPPER, ACID BOGEN, none of them here that night
