their own biography
the whole biography
Andrea Cichecki creates Synths, Sounds, and Noise that are as magical as they are modern. Nestled in her countryside studio with her self-built modular Eurorack synthesizer, Andrea is a composer and sound artist who creates her signature sound by layering analog and digital synth waves with influences from her natural surroundings. Her soundtracks and soundscapes are immersive pieces that transcend mainstream electronic music, blending her expertise in synthesis with organic noise and textures to compose emotional, transfixing music that invites listeners into her world. For over 20 years, Andrea has let her innate passion for music lead the way, allowing it to take her on journeys through ambient, experimental, and contemporary genres. Her versatility has led her to collaborate with filmmakers and artists to bring stories in film, fashion, and art to life through sound, including the score for the critically acclaimed and award-nominated short film 'Reclaiming Dragons'. She has also worked as an audio engineer, contributing to recording, mixing, and mastering on international productions. Her album 'Drawn Into The Edge Effect', released on Castles In Space, received a nomination on the long list of the highly acclaimed German award 'Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik'. Her experimental track 'Alles Ist Nacht' was shortlisted for Raster Media’s 'Raster Open Call Soundtrack Europe 2025', and is featured on the accompanying CD compilation for the European Cultural Capital Chemnitz in 2025. Alongside her recorded work, Andrea performs live as a solo artist, and as a member of an audiovisual performance project with French painter Oilhack. www.andreacichecki.comTheir RA profile lists Etui Records, Telrae, Sol Asylum, RA+RE Records and 2 more.
