their own biography
the whole biography
SHOLINGER is a Berlin-based electronic music producer and live act, exploring techno and breakbeats with a touch of the experimental. His hypnotic rhythms and refined deep grooves pull listeners into a state of shared momentum and driving intensity. Long story short – Sholinger’s musical roots trace back to ’90s techno, hip-hop, and the rhythmic traditions of the Yoruba. As a Berlin native, he discovered the spiritual depth of electronic music in the vibrant mid-90s, spending countless nights at E-Werk, the original Tresor, and other underground venues. This experience soon sparked his interest in producing beats, experimenting with samplers and synthesizers. Transitioning into a full-time studio engineer and sound designer in 2004, Sho immersed himself in the diverse world of sound. Working in projects across various styles and genres shaped his unique perception of music. After a break from his own projects, the ‚Petite Victory Collective‘ reignited Sholinger’s return to the scene. Since then, he has performed at renowned clubs and events, including ://about blank, OXI Club (ATR/Berlin) and Basement (PVC/Copenhagen), and has hosted the 4th edition of Sonic Playground in November 2025 at Musikbrauerei (Berlin) with the kind support of Sennheiser. – „Through repetition, sound emerges in cycles, each one reshaping the last. With every return, the pattern deepens and becomes a meditative ritual.”Recently at OXI, Lauschangriff, Musikbrauerei · often with Artists, ravers, no cameras, none of them here that night
