Since then, she has transcended the boundaries of the Berlin underground, bringing her standout style to the international circuit from Mexico to Kazakhstan. What sets Mila's high-intensity brand of Techno apart is a willingness to embrace unorthodox sounds and explore the beauty in harshness and dissonance. Sharpening her vision and increasing the intensity over the years, she has since gravitated toward more hypnotic, percussion-heavy forms. Channeling raw and restless momentum that holds space without demanding it, her otherworldly soundscapes and unrelenting kinetic energy merge deliberate bluntness with a beautifully refined and eclectic array of sounds. As a DJ, she transports the same directness: from high-energy peak-time appearances to the mesmeric extended closings she became known for, Mila's sets deliver purist energy arcs that encapsulate the non-judgmental freedom and expressiveness of the rave circuit free of nebulous superstructures. Moderna's style is described as a dark heady blend of Techno, Dark Disco, Elektro, and Acid with wrought darkened vocals that has become her signature distinction. Beginning at a young age in a noise band, 'The Static Cult', she quickly fell in love with her passion for an underground unique sound. After several years working closely with Indie electronic label Ghostly International she naturally moved on to her own works, which has gained worldwide recognition and underground appeal. She is sought after internationally with dj performances at clubs and parties such as Womb Tokyo, Rex Club Paris, Kater Blau Berlin, Poland’s Garbicz Festival and Topaz Deluxe, Bar Americas and Sunday Sunday in Mexico. Now residing in Berlin the Los Angeles transplant gained momentum in Europe while working on new productions, touring and focusing her energy on hybrid label and radio show ‘Brave New Rave’ which is the home of her debut Album "The Future Is Among Us" Out Now on all platforms. Her discography also includes 4 EPs with Mexican-based artist Theus Mago which are on French label La Dame Noir and Barcelona based label This Side Up. With the latest releases on Mexico based DURO. Franz Scala’s sets are as diverse as the music he curates as label head of Slow Motion. Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music. Born in Italy and now a resident of Berlin for a decade Franz has his roots in noise rock and elettronica but was led by the record collectors passion into acquiring a taste for modern and not so modern dance floor music. He frequently inspires dancers in clubs all over Europe with his eclectic blend of spacey House, New Wave, Italo and Acid speckled with hints of Electro and Chicago House. Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has releases on World Unknown, Bordello A Parigi, Bahnsteig 23, Tusk Wax, Mechatronica or Discodromo´s Cocktail d’Amore Music. Franz is link to many events around the german capital such as the monthly Wrong Era, Italian Dance Wave and Italorama night in Panorama Bar, Magic Waves or New Dance Fantasy Festival.
