“Raised and based in Berlin, deeply connected to its vinyl culture.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Raised and based in Berlin, deeply connected to its vinyl culture. Sabine Hoffmann has carved out her space through a simple, dedicated approach: playing the music she loves, strictly on wax. Sabine discovered her passion for spinning vinyl around the early 2000’s, when she was first exposed to electronic music. Today, her sets reflect this broad foundation, moving naturally between Techno and House. Whether she is commanding the booth at legendary institutions like Berghain, Tresor, ://about blank or Heideglühen, her selections are driven by an intuitive understanding of the dancefloor and a profound respect for the roots of electronic music. As a longtime face of Berlin’s renowned OYE Records, she sits at the source of crate digging culture. She is taking care of all OYE club events and In Stores happening at one of the record shops. Since January 2023 she is hosting the OYE Podcast series. For Sabine, music has always been about more than just the individual performance. With her "Frauengedeck" initiative, she has spent years creating space for FLINTA* artists, prioritizing community and talent over hype. Her newest project is "Dub Nation". An event series brought to life by good old colleagues and friends Sabine Hoffmann and Kenneth Christiansen. Both share the unconditional love for the deeper and more dubby side of Techno and House. She doesn’t aim for the spotlight, she aims for the right track at the right moment. That´s, what made her a respected and consistent voice in Berlin’s underground scene.Their RA profile lists zaijenroots and Rarehouse Records.Recently at OYE Kreuzkoelln, ://about blank, AMT · often with Chami, eva h., HOPPER, none of them here that night

Ayesha is a key player in Brooklyn's dance music scene, and has become one of NYC's most prominent names when it comes to faster, more-bass heavy sounds in New York. Her approach to DJing and production blends elements of America's techno underground with leftfield UK sounds and diasporic influences from her Indian heritage, moving across tempos and rhythms with ease. Her music, hypnotic, pulsating and powerful, is as at home at a deep forest festival as it is a sweaty basement or dark nightclub, made with meticulous sound design, spongy textures and alien melodies. She writes tracks with deliberate consideration for how bodies move—and how music moves bodies—which makes her work unusually tactile and physical. "Beautiful things emerge from our care and consistent attention," she says about her work, which she also calls "body over mind." Everyone else calls it brilliant. She's put out music on Scuffed Recordings and Kindergarten Records, the latter of whom released her debut album, Rhythm is Memory, in 2022. DJ Mag called it "a revelation," Resident Advisor a "fierce mission statement" and Mixmag placed her at number two in its list of the 25 Producers Who Defined 2023. Later this year, she'll make her live set debut at MUTEK Festival in Montreal, hinting at an exciting new chapter for a dynamic force in American dance music.Their RA profile lists Fever AM, Scuffed Recordings, Femme Culture, Control Freak Records and 2 more.Last at Berghain in Aug · often with Mor Elian, DJ DEADNAME, Ma Sha, none of them here that night

Passion, conviction, and respect for club culture—Dinamite channels these values through a solid and intelligible Techno sound. Born in Madrid, Ana Z immersed herself in the electronic music scene by frequenting the city’s most iconic DJ booths. However, it was in Berlin, the cradle of Techno, where she truly consolidated her career after moving there in 2012. Absorbing the city's rebellious and creative energy, she refined her sound and established herself within its underground scene. As a resident at Tresor, Dinamite has become a key figure in the club’s legacy. For years, she has curated the New Faces series, a platform dedicated to emerging talents from around the world, reinforcing the ever-evolving Techno community. Her dynamic and intense sets, fueled by sustained energy and a deep sense of exploration, have led her to perform in many of Europe’s most influential underground clubs. In the studio, she crafts unique sonic landscapes, blending dark, immersive, powerful, and organic sounds with saturated textures. Her discography includes releases on Planet Rhythm, Affin Records, Detroit Underground, Newrhythmic, Illegal Alien Records, and many more. In 2021, she launched Onna Bushi Records, a label committed to artistic visibility and the perseverance of a constantly reinventing community. DJ, producer, and curator, Dinamite is a multifaceted artist who transforms electronic music into a philosophy of life.Their RA profile lists Affin, Illegal Alien Records, NEWRHYTHMIC, Detroit Underground and 6 more.Recently at OHM, Tresor / Globus · often with Lady Starlight, Dave Clarke, Tin Man, none of them here that night
“The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently.”

The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions. But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood. At the beginning of 2019, he released his first work 'A Vision Of Light' in Danza Nativa, where currently he is one of the pillars of the label based in Buenos Aires.Their RA profile lists UTCH Records, Anekoic Records, Subosc, Lowless and 6 more.Recently at Kwia, Block1 · often with Octo Åeterna, monosym, Raia, none of them here that night

His career, spanning over 25+ years, has seen Steve grow from his early beginnings as a young promoter and resident DJ to one of the UK’s most established, accomplished and respected techno artists credited by many as a true pioneer. After earning his stripes with residencies at some of the UK’s most influential events such as Energy (Orbital raves), ID Magazine’s 1990 World Tour, The Wag Club, Solaris, The Brain, and The Zap Steve would go onto launch his own night LOST alongside Sheree Rashit. Since its induction to the present day LOST has stood as one of the UK’s most innovative and scene-defining events marking the debut performances from some of dance music’s most uncompromising and inventive creators. Aside from his huge success as a promoter Steve also produced under the name LOST between the years 1990-1992. He would then launch his own label Cosmic Records, also co-run with Rashit, and a new musical direction was found. From the first label three more imprints followed; LOST Recordings that focused solely on the sounds of LOST’s dancefloor, Clubtracks, specialising in more Chicago house-sounding productions, and ID(entity) created to release hidden aliases’ of well-established artists affiliated with the Cosmic label and LOST nights. When it comes to Steve Bicknell’s productions it’s no doubt he embodies the true essence of straight to the point, no-nonsense techno characteristics he fluidly translates into his DJ sets. Reflecting on Steve’s earliest work it is clear after stepping back from producing in the mid 2000’s he was still able to maintain the same relentless energy and curiosity yet honing and evolving it into something fresh and current upon his return in 2013. Equipped with neoteric ideas, in 2016 Steve launched his latest imprint 6dimensions. The label has played host to both his own and other influential artists productions. He describes the imprint as being “an exploration into balance and imbalance of the human mind’s natural make-up of love, fear, joy, hatred, boredom and sexuality”. Furthermore, in 2017 the techno supergroup LSD was formed alongside friends Luke Slater and David Sumner. Their debut release, “Process”, landed on Ostgut Ton which they described in their own words as ‘lysergic machine music’. Since then the trio has performed regularly with notable shows at the likes of ADE, Berghain and Dekmantel Festival to name a few. 2019 sees the trio returning with new releases and even more shows. With a compelling selection of new music coming out over the course of 2019 and his return to the road, Steve seems to be more relevant than ever before. With his second to none experience in promoting events, performing as a DJ to producing in the studio alone or with friends on top of his mission to continue to create, explore and experiment its looking like Steve Bicknell is unstoppable.Their RA profile lists Soma Records, novamute, Ostgut Ton, Tresor and 6 more.Last at Tresor / Globus in May · often with TONI BA, Joe Delon, Glenn Underground, none of them here that night
