  • Tommy Four Seven

London, United Kingdom · 6 bookings since Sep 2025

“Boundary-defying British artist Tommy Four Seven has been a defining presence in international techno for over two decades.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Boundary-defying British artist Tommy Four Seven has been a defining presence in international techno for over two decades. Renowned for his uncompromising taste and precision behind the decks, he has built a global reputation as a DJ and producer who moves fluidly between intensity, restraint and deep sonic narrative. Equally at home in the studio, Tommy’s discography reflects a consistent drive to push techno beyond fixed templates. His debut album Primate fused off-kilter rhythmic structures with stripped-back four-to-the-floor minimalism, while its follow-up Veer pushed further into forceful, kinetic territory at the edges of techno. In 2023, his solo EP 47039 refined this language further, distilling rolling techno and broken-beat experimentation into a tightly controlled and nuanced release. Beyond his own productions, Tommy’s curatorial vision has been central to his wider impact on the scene. His label 47, active for a decade, became a globally respected platform for forward-thinking techno, championing emerging artists such as Quelza, Tauceti and AgainstMe while also extending into a carefully curated series of international events. In 2025, 47 concluded with a final release and closing events, marking the end of a significant chapter. That momentum now continues through 2 0, a collaborative label project launched in 2026. Structured as a series of paired releases, the project centres on close artistic exchange, bringing Tommy into dialogue with artists whose work has shaped different phases of his career. The first release features collaborations with JakoJako and Rrose. Future instalments extend the dialogue to Marcel Dettmann, Oscar Mulero, Donato Dozzy and Function, forming a layered series of exchanges across generations and perspectives within techno. An artist defined by evolution rather than reinvention, Tommy Four Seven remains a distinctive voice in contemporary techno, driven by long-term vision, rigorous curation and an enduring commitment to the dance floor.
Their RA profile lists 47 and 2 0.

  • DJ Stingray 313

Detroit, United States of America · 6 bookings since Aug 2025

“His musical catalog covers themes and concepts regarding modern science, genetics, healthcare, technology and their effects on the human condition.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
His musical catalog covers themes and concepts regarding modern science, genetics, healthcare, technology and their effects on the human condition. His earliest productions appeared in 1987 as a collaboration with Lou Robinson (of Scan 7) under the group name Nasa with “Time To Party” and “Cant Stop Now”. Stingray’s solo productions appeared later under the Urban Tribe moniker on Carl Craig’s Planet E Communications label (“Covert Action”). 1998’s debut of “The Collapse Of Modern Culture” on James Lavelle’s Mo’Wax label turned Urban Tribe into a collaborative effort, adding Carl Craig, Anthony “Shake” Shakir and Moodymann to the group. His most notable connection, however, is through the iconic electro outfit of James Stinson and Gerald Donald aka Drexciya. As Mystic Tribe A.I., Stingray’s early credit was on Stinson’s (as The Other People Place) “Sunday Night Live at the Laptop Cafe” 12” via Clone Records. Further meetings with the duo earned him the name “Drexciyan DJ Stingray”, subsequently becoming Stinson and Donald’s official touring DJ. Donning his emblematic balaclava, his cyborg-like DJ sets continue to leave audiences captivated globally for decades. This skilled approach to the dancefloor gives him quite the in-demand gig schedule, appearing at landmark festivals and venues like Tresor Berlin, Glastonbury, Dekmantel, Movement Festival (Detroit), Making Time (USA), Sonar Festival (Barcelona), Berghain, Dimensions Festival, and Berlin Atonal. Stingray’s career continued on as DJ Stingray 313 (and as Stingray313, respectively), after Stinson’s passing in 2002 in respect of the Drexciyan legacy. His ever-unique productions have seen releases on Mahogani Music, Warp Records, Rephlex (“Misinformation Campaign” EP), Tresor (Kern, Vol. 4), and Unknown To The Unknown (Imping Is Easy). Collaborative EPs on WéMè Records with Gerald Donald and Penelope Martin were released in 2012 under the enigmatic NRSB-11 moniker. DJ Stingray 313’s music and sets are met with high praise in the media, with constant appearances in DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, The Wire, Pitchfork and Fact Magazine, as well as mixes on BBC radio. His Micron Audio imprint also continues the representation of his futuristic template, embodying his signature sound of electro and techno. Aside from creating Micron as home to release his music – see the inimitable “Electronic Countermeasures” EP – he releases music from emerging artists in accord with his vision including Galaxian, Ctris, Loka and 6SISS. DJ Stingray 313 remains a steadfast figure in his uncompromising sound, craftily setting the soundtrack to the not-too-distant future. – J. Howard

Representing the cutting edge of Italy’s club scene, Z.I.P.P.O stands out through a deeply personal approach to electronic music. Giuseppe, as he is known off stage, developed his passion early on, building a prolific discography shaped by experimentation, collaboration, and years spent exploring different shades of techno and house across continents. With an ongoing residency at Tresor, Z.I.P.P.O continues to refine a sound rooted in deep digging, hypnotic rhythms and a forward looking approach to Techno and House. His artistic path includes collaborations with renowned labels such as SK11, Enemy, Tresor, Mistress and his own imprint Fides, alongside appearances at DVS1’s curated events and an ongoing residency at Polifonic Festival. Active for more than a decade, Fides Records remains a clear reflection of Z.I.P.P.O’s long term dedication to underground electronic music.
