    their own biography

    the whole biography
Carré [kah-RAY] is a producer and DJ based in London via Los Angeles. Named one of Mixmag's "Top Artists To Watch in 2026," she's rapidly established herself as a defining voice in contemporary dubstep—honoring the genre's foundations while pushing it into bold new territories. She's also one of the driving forces behind Fast At Work, the underground party series and label that Resident Advisor dubbed "one of LA's best warehouse parties." Carré’s ascent has been marked by a string of celebrated EPs, including 2024’s Soft Fascination, which launched the Fast At Work imprint, and Air Sign on Darwin’s SPE:C—(the latter of which features the track Fawn, named #13 on Resident Advisor’s “Best Tracks of 2024” list. In Spring 2025, Carré made a powerful debut on the legendary UK label Tempa with Body Shell, a release praised for bridging dubstep’s lineage with her own futuristic sensibility, followed closely by Meltdown on EMA’s label Woozy and Up Too Late on Fast At Work. Carré’s bookings have taken her across Europe, the US and Japan, with appearances at revered institutions such as Panorama Bar, FOLD, The White Hotel, Outlook Festival and Public Records. With further releases in the works and a growing international profile, Carré is widely regarded as a transatlantic torchbearer for dubstep’s next chapter, part of a new guard capable of upholding the genre’s legacy while decisively shaping its future.

  • Le Motel

    Brussels, Belgium

“As a music producer and film composer his versatility has taken him to festivals and clubs in every direction as naturally as he has ventured out to the less accessible areas of the globe as a field recordist.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
As a music producer and film composer his versatility has taken him to festivals and clubs in every direction as naturally as he has ventured out to the less accessible areas of the globe as a field recordist. It’s somewhere in between these spaces that Le Motel operates, gathering unique experiences and sounds to channel through his studio. With a background in graphic design it’s not surprising that there’s a visual trace element across all of Le Motel’s music. And it’s perhaps why he’s so readily adapted to composing for film. Whatever the pace of the track, whatever template you might think he’s experimenting with and slowly revealing, the evocative collages that swarm around the rhythm is what marks his productions and sets them aside from the crowd. Blissfully organic elements come up against the hard surfaces of the woozy synth-work that you’ll find across his discography, pulling the listener in close in order to gently blow them away. Stacking up early notable releases on LA’s TAR label with a set of tracks that put his spin on footwork, Le Motel’s breakthrough moment came in the form of an album for New Zealand’s Cosmic Compositions back in 2015. Titled ‘OKA’, the record was picked out by Gilles Peterson for special attention as album of the week on BBC Radio 6. Effortlessly fusing juke, hip hop, techno, and with a jazzy strain throughout, the album deftly captures the wide array of styles and scenes that Le Motel moves between.
The intervening years have seen Le Motel take time out from his own productions to step in and pilot some of Belgium’s biggest hip hop artists into their hard-to-miss fame. However, he’s now out to present his own unique work that he’s been brewing all this while. With a new EP titled ‘Transiro’ that reflects the state of transition that his life has been in, and a new label to call home, Le Motel is about to reignite and restate the direction that his previous album started to lay out. Maloca, his newly minted label, will take its first steps with ‘Transiro’ and will continue to focus on incubating different links between different influences and cultures. A capsule for this new mission is his collaboration with Brussels-based artist Antoine De Schuyter, who has worked with many musical artists at the cutting edge of AV design. Together the pair have put together a fully modular AV show to be performed live, and to be kept in a constant state of evolution. Alongside this, Le Motel continues to build his repertoire as a formidable DJ.
Their RA profile lists Couvre x Chefs and Nehza.
  • Magugu

Lagos, Nigeria · 2 bookings since Dec 2025

“Magugu was raised in Ajegungle, a city of Lagos, where pidgin rap originated from.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Magugu was raised in Ajegungle, a city of Lagos, where pidgin rap originated from. Adopting the style of rap himself, pidgin rap sees a combination of two disparate languages blending together as one to create this fast-paced, high-energy sound that draws on bilingual colloquialism. He aims to connect the world to his African heritage through this style. The MC has gained support from the likes of Giles Peterson, Toddla T, Skrillex and more. Magugu made his NLV Records debut in 2020 with ‘Big Don’, a raucous collaboration with UK producer Famous Eno. The pair first met in 2019 after Famous Eno remixed DJ Mellow and Magugu’s single ‘Run Dem’. Famous Eno sent Magugu the beat for ‘Big Don’, which inspired the MC to start jamming. 2021 saw the release of his dancehall-infused EP ‘Guguland.’
