⟫ saHHar ⵣ سَهّار is a DJ and co-founder of the Berlin-based collective saHHara, and a resident of the event series Haram Night. ⟫ Born and raised in Tunis and now based in Berlin, he explores the musical electronic landscapes by blending North African rhythms such as mezoued, raï, chaabi, stambeli, and Arabic music with electronic sounds such as bouncy & groovy techno and house. His sets often include live elements like drums and vocals. With strong ties to the underground scenes, saHHar started out playing in illegal raves and organizing events to fill gaps he felt in the Berlin scene to give space to underrepresentated artists and sounds. Today his focus is on community events, club performances and fundraisers for various causes. ⟫ Inspired by artists like Ammar 808, Acid Arab, Saliah, and Sina XX, saHHar continues to explore how traditional sounds can find new life within modern club music. Through his music, he aims to build bridges between cultures and connect people through rhythm and movement. ⟫ Bookings: sahhar.dj@gmail.com
