their own biography
the whole biography
Launching to prominence out of Herrensauna's infamous underground parties, CEM has forged a singular path as an fierce club DJ unafraid of turning the dancefloor moody. CEM's unique brand of emotive hysteria was forged in Herrensauna's hedonistic Berlin furnace in the last few years, and as one of the party's three core members, he has been at the heart of the operations since its inception. With the party attracting more and more attention for its critical contribution to Berlin's queer community, as well as their raw italo-metal aesthetic, the opportunity came to move into Tresor, where it has cemented its place as a unique addition to Berlin's nocturnal topography. CEM's role in all this is twofold—firstly, as curator of the party's unique mix of frenetic DJs and industrial-edged live performances; and secondly, as one of the resident DJs. The sheer pace of Herrensauna's preferred grade of techno is offset by his enigmatic presence and selection. It's a crucial edge of the party, and it's rightfully brought CEM to the world's attention. With a preference for UK-tweaked tracks from across the contemporary milieu of harder club works, nor with a fear of breakbeats or sullen moments, he's a rare species of DJ that seeds intensity in even the most hesitant of movers. And with a background in queer club culture going back a decade to his hometown of Vienna—side-by-side with a punk upbringing—CEM's well versed in the essential metrics of unrelenting after dark commotion.Recently at Kraftwerk Berlin, KREUZWERK, MUENZE · often with DJ TOOL, Juliana Huxtable, 131bpm, none of them here that night

“She started working for the development of club culture in her native Venezuela since an early age.”

the whole biography
She started working for the development of club culture in her native Venezuela since an early age. There, she co-founded SOLO, the first club dedicated exclusively to electronic music in her hometown. Now she continues that labor in Berlin with not one but two vital community-focused club nights. Her first called Mess, Mindful Electronic Sonic Selections, a forward thinking club night happening at OHM which have a focus on femme and queer artist from diverse cultural backgrounds, and it's dedicated to the celebration of diversity and supporting DIY club culture around the world. Her newest Mala Junta, which she co-founded along with Dj Tool and that counts with D.dan, Yazzus and Why Be as residents, is considered one of Berlin’s fiercest underground queer-techno parties, with a focus on inclusivity, Mala Junta approaches the faster, groovier edges of dance music with an open mind and a relentless spirit. Hyperaktivist have directly influenced a shift in the scene in Berlin, not only through introducing her Tribal euphoric fresh sounds, with great influence in her roots from Latin America and the Caribbean coast where she grew up, but also by constantly nurturing and pushing up her community and advocating political values of equality & diversity at the forefront of her projects. Since being selected as one of the Shape Platform for innovative music artists in 2016, she has been touring around the world. You can find her playing from Berlin’s most renown clubs to all across Europe, USA and South America, always bringing her characteristic energy and commitment to the dance floors, merging genres with ease she takes influence both in her time spent in Berlin and South America.Their RA profile lists Proxima and Creatures of the Night.Recently at Komplex Berlin, OHM, RSO.BERLIN · often with DJ TOOL, D.Dan, Yazzus, none of them here that night

Born in Rome, but currently based in the Italian capital of fashion and design, Milan, Isabella (aka Matisa) has been plugging away at her sound, formulating her signature energy that is bright, bubbling and emotional. Matisa picked up DJing in her mid-teens after feeling her creative expression was hindered by traditional musical instruments. After graduating with a degree in Political Science, with the prospect of working in government, Matisa felt her creative side yearning for more freedom, hence studying and later receiving a Masters in Fashion Product Management at Polimoda: one of the top fashion institutes in the world. Since her debut EP on Optimo Music in 2019, Matisa has released music with Permanent Vacation, Biologic Records, Dischi Autunno, Butter Sessions, On Loop and Steel City Dance Discs. 2023 releases include the hugely successful Tongue EP on Peggy Gou’s imprint GUDU Records and Cuddle EP on SOS Records. Matisa saw the new year in with a release on Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant - “Baby Disco EP”, her second EP of the year released in May 2024 on Permanent Vacation, a collaboration with Italian producer Volantis “Notte Paradiso”. The forthcoming releases include two singles set to drop on Future Classic. Gaining support from Dixon, Seth Troxler, Ben UFO, Jennifer Cardini, Gerd Janson, Nicola Cruz, Sally C, Moxie and Peggy Gou amongst many others, is all testament to her infectious energy. Now with no boundaries to artistic influence or expression and keeping strong ties with both the fashion and music industries, Matisa not only works and collaborates with top brands and talented designers but seamlessly and authentically ties both careers and passions together. “My music is born to inspire expression and encourage you to lose yourself in the moment.”Their RA profile lists !K7, Permanent Vacation, Running Back, Biologic Records and 6 more.Recently at Renate · often with Berghain, Beste Hira, Pulsinger, none of them here that night

For more than a decade, he has been one of Berlin’s most enduring presences and a key figure in the city's queer scene, playing regularly at both Panorama Bar and Berghain. His aesthetic is rooted in the origins of underground dance music, taking cues from the rawness of both US and UK cornerstones. Acid-tinged patterns, rolling toms, and full-bodied low ends combine into a groove that’s punchy and alive. As Dekmantel noted on his contribution to their mix series, “He packs plenty in, dexterously switching up the mood as he weaves through evocative and emotional sounds, always powered by crisp drums.” His longevity and quiet authority have led him to be a regular fixture at some of the most celebrated clubs and parties around – Adonis in London, BLITZ in Munich, and Savage Hanoi, as well as performances at leading festivals like Glastonbury’s Block9, Houghton, Wonderfruit, and Lost Village. This energy also fuels his project LAUNDRETTE, a collaboration with Roi Perez and David Elimelech. What began as a series of intimate gatherings has grown into one of Berlin’s most beloved parties, which also function occasionally as fundraisers for marginalised communities and humanitarian causes.Recently at Else, Berghain · often with Roi Perez, David Elimelech, Mike Servito, none of them here that night

Founder and resident DJ of Power Dance Club in Athens and Berlin, Stathis has been a driving force in Europe’s queer underground for over a decade. Known for his eclectic, leftfield selections that blend electronic dance music with a fearless sense of play, he’s shaped dance floors from warehouse raves to major festivals. As the visionary behind the now-legendary DISCOSÓDOMA in London, Stathis helped redefine queer club culture in the UK before moving on to new creative chapters. His sets have lit up iconic venues like Berghain/Panorama Bar and Glastonbury’s Block9, where his bold sonic storytelling continues to leave a lasting imprint.Recently at KREUZWERK, Berghain, RSO.BERLIN · often with Byron Yeates, Majdolen, Maria Politi, none of them here that night

Shaped by his formative years in New York, Tommy's sets are a vehicle for connection—each track a carefully selected tool for transformation, placed with intention and control. Drawing from the lineage of house and techno, his sets reflect a close study of its past and a clear vision forward. Rhythms build patiently, tension accumulates, and energy undulates across the dancefloor. Selections move through driving deep cuts, hypnotic grooves, and soaring vocals, allowing space for the room to expand, settle, and respond. Now based in Mexico City, Hart holds residencies at Yuyu Cine Club and LGBTQ+ institution [sic] club, two anchors in the city’s ever-evolving underground landscape. He continues to tour extensively, bringing his physical and emotionally driven approach to dancefloors worldwide.Last at ÆDEN in Jul · often with ketia, flirty800, DJ USA, none of them here that night
