  “Don’t be scared to do what makes you happy, even though it means going against the stream. Make art the way art is beautiful for you.” Simone Scardino has created a musical style and vision that truly is his own, sharing it with the world with his new solo project CONCEPTUAL. Techno is body music. It’s all about this special feeling that you have when your mind disconnects and your body just follows the music, the feeling of freedom when you dance. Simone’s vision of techno unceasingly characterizes his unique productions as well as his DJ sets. In 2020 Simone founded the Berlin based art and music collective Friendship Collective. Through his devotion to techno and visual and performance arts the idea for CONCEPTUAL was born. His performances will often be characterized by collaborations with visual artists and performers, creating a special techno experience for the people that come to see him play. Owner and Founder of DUNA, new recording project boarn in 2021. The label focus on new and established artists that show and already have shown constant evolution and experimentation in the past whilst staying uncompromisingly true to their musical identity. Simone’s progressive approach to producing and DJing as well as his collaborations with artists in and outside music reflects his artistic vision and goals as much as his spirited personality, and, in its essence, embodies what CONCEPTUAL represents.   Ayesha is a key player in Brooklyn's dance music scene, and has become one of NYC's most prominent names when it comes to faster, more-bass heavy sounds in New York. Her approach to DJing and production blends elements of America's techno underground with leftfield UK sounds and diasporic influences from her Indian heritage, moving across tempos and rhythms with ease. Her music, hypnotic, pulsating and powerful, is as at home at a deep forest festival as it is a sweaty basement or dark nightclub, made with meticulous sound design, spongy textures and alien melodies. She writes tracks with deliberate consideration for how bodies move—and how music moves bodies—which makes her work unusually tactile and physical. "Beautiful things emerge from our care and consistent attention," she says about her work, which she also calls "body over mind." Everyone else calls it brilliant. She's put out music on Scuffed Recordings and Kindergarten Records, the latter of whom released her debut album, Rhythm is Memory, in 2022. DJ Mag called it "a revelation," Resident Advisor a "fierce mission statement" and Mixmag placed her at number two in its list of the 25 Producers Who Defined 2023. Later this year, she'll make her live set debut at MUTEK Festival in Montreal, hinting at an exciting new chapter for a dynamic force in American dance music.
