A veteran and somewhat legend to Berlin’s bass music scene, selecta UTA’s resume spans from co-running UK bass dedicated party Rec Room (along side Sarah Farina and Kepler) to providing killer sets for the likes of Rinse FM, Boiler Room, Nood Radio, Refuge Worldwide, HÖR and Berceuse Heroique mix series. In addition to appearing at cult-favourite clubs like Berlin’s OHM and Hamburg's Golden Pudel, she has frequented CTM Festival and DEEP MEDI as well as Europe's best sound system projects including Nik Nowak's explorations of sonic warfare: "Sound(ing) Systems” at KINDL Centre for Contemporary Art Berlin and the legendary KILLASAN Sound System at Haus der Kunst Munich (a collaboration with Goethe Institute; spanning art, culture and musical crossover). Schooled in classic house and techno as part of the German capital's thriving underground scene in the '90s, UTA's wide-ranging selections are tied together by her skillful technique, honed over decades behind the decks. An avid and adventurous listener, she hunts down hidden gems in second-hand record shops, mixing them with new and future sounds of bass music, grime, breaks, 2-step and dub. Over the years her passion for musical diversity and intention to find the origin of what she is playing has only grown. UTA enjoys digging deeper into the history, roots and politics of sounds and genres, it's often and still a reflection of time for her. UTA is the host of Slow Caffeine on THF Radio.

One of those artists that seems to be skilled on all surfaces, Marie K tells her musical story in a highly personal way, to great effect.
Her DJ sets emit a playful and daring energy that ranges from cheeky forgotten finds to modern South-American influences, always with great attention to detail in the way she builds up a set, and listens to the audience’s energy. It comes as no surprise Marie K sees dancing as a therapeutic tool for the soul. Being classically schooled, she shook the world with her live debut at Draaimolen 2022, and continues to deliver deeply emotional, dark, yet hopeful journeys through her hardware only performance. Marie’s first productions are to be released on vinyl later this year through well regarded labels such as Nous’Klaer Audio with more in the works.

    the whole biography
Whether he’s inspiring dancers from the DJ booth or broadcasting on the radio, Pieter Jansen is a familiar face on Amsterdam’s thriving underground electronic music scene – a fixture at all annual Draaimolen events and a resident & programmer at the notable Breakfast Club in Amsterdam. Over the past few years, Pieter launched two imprints: yeyeh (short for “You’re Everything You’ve Ever Heard”), a lovingly curated outlet for intriguing, engaging, and inspiring music both old and new; and ninih, the night to yeyeh’s day, an imprint focused on rather rhythmical, club-ready sounds. Through these outputs, Pieter alternately puts out unreleased music by producers from the past (the 90s/00s) while also shedding light onto producers of today. Bubbling away beneath the surface of the Dutch scene since the early part of the past decade, Jansen began his career by promoting parties and festivals before dedicating more time to DJing. Jansen chose to champion vinyl from the start. It’s almost impossible to pin Jansen to a specific style or scene; instead, he’s cultivated a personal DJ style that prioritises darker, weirder, and more profound records while remaining firmly focused on the dancefloor. Known for taking risks – both in creating thoroughly inspired mixes and by his chosen records – His style is defined by his ability to explore multiple genres while regularly reaching for electro, IDM, house/techno, ambient and minimalist grooves.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Amsterdam-based producer and DJ has his own take on contemporary club music, prioritizing detail, well-timed flow, and character. His approach to a live set is outsider and genuinely honest – RDS aims to show listeners how he records music, improvising arrangements, mixing, and dubbing on the go using only hardware. Eerie techno, chugging minimal, or emotive tech-house: RDS makes and plays music embodying modern sleekness while homaging the sonics of the past. With over a dozen releases across a cohort of well-known labels, his productions feel at home both on the intimate dancefloors of small venues and in the big rooms of festivals. Performing live, playing a DJ set, or jamming in the studio, RDS translates his distinct vision with depth, meaning, and an innate sense of spontaneity.
Their RA profile lists De Lichting and Tancido.
