She started working for the development of club culture in her native Venezuela since an early age. There, she co-founded SOLO, the first club dedicated exclusively to electronic music in her hometown. Now she continues that labor in Berlin with not one but two vital community-focused club nights. Her first called Mess, Mindful Electronic Sonic Selections, a forward thinking club night happening at OHM which have a focus on femme and queer artist from diverse cultural backgrounds, and it's dedicated to the celebration of diversity and supporting DIY club culture around the world. Her newest Mala Junta, which she co-founded along with Dj Tool and that counts with D.dan, Yazzus and Why Be as residents, is considered one of Berlin’s fiercest underground queer-techno parties, with a focus on inclusivity, Mala Junta approaches the faster, groovier edges of dance music with an open mind and a relentless spirit. Hyperaktivist have directly influenced a shift in the scene in Berlin, not only through introducing her Tribal euphoric fresh sounds, with great influence in her roots from Latin America and the Caribbean coast where she grew up, but also by constantly nurturing and pushing up her community and advocating political values of equality & diversity at the forefront of her projects. Since being selected as one of the Shape Platform for innovative music artists in 2016, she has been touring around the world. Each set and production is sweaty, seductive, and charged with an unmistakable attitude. His approach pulls from countless influences without boundaries, weaving them into something raw, magnetic, and impossible to ignore. Since becoming a resident at Milan’s Vitamina party in 2018, 131bpm’s presence has only expanded. In August 2023, he released his debut album on Berlin’s Body Language — the namesake party where he’s also held a residency since 2022. Linchpin of her local scene, Rio de Janeiro’s veritable rave queen, Ananda, has found her musical home in the Carioca warehouses and parking lots where she holds the fort at her seven-year-strong queer party, KODE. There, the producer and DJ hosts Brazil’s finest along with international guests and collaborations that include clubs such as Bassiani at one of the country’s most celebrated events that commit to the uplifting of marginalized communities. But Ananda’s impact on Brazilian club music far outstretches the RDJ limits. Indeed, she regularly plays at São Paulo’s revered parties, Mamba Negra, ODD, and Carlos Capslock, and other parties and festivals around the country. In 2022, she became part of Y3K, a collective in São Paulo focused on Latin club music-oriented events. Having traversed the Brazil Club and rave scene, she’s hit the European underground with gigs at Berlin clubs such as Berghain, Tresor, and Else - also touring to Lisbon’s famous party MINA, Les Patties Brave in Paris - and Tbilisi super club Bassiani South American tour. Serving up techno with Latin club music and lashings of booty-bouncing ghetto-house, she demonstrates an aptitude for genre-jumping. Taking in streams and radio shows for Hor and Rinse. As a producer, Ananda has built features with Nice&Deadly, Gop Tun, TORMENTA, and A-Mig. Born in the south of Brasil, based in Rio de Janeiro after living 5 years in São Paulo, Nora has been a DJ and music producer for 6 years. With percussion and bass always marking her sets. She’s a great exponent of the national underground scene and has been gaining international space for a few years, representing Brasil with excellence on other continents. The DJ has sets for Boiler Room Hard Dance, NTS, and The Lot Radio, and other renowned international streams. As a producer, she has a collection of releases. On her European tours, she played at clubs such as TRESOR, RSO, OHM Club, C12, Colour Factory, Razzmatazz, CLUB ROTESONNE, in addition to the radios HOR and KIOSK RADIO. Her EP "Miss u Raving" caught attention for bringing fluidity between different genres of electronic music, ranging from Jungle and Breakcore to popular techno. In addition to Miss u Raving, NORA also released the EP JUMP, again mixing techno with jungle and other heavy beats.
