“Between beats and notes, Madd Rod embodies the curiosity brewing within Rodrigo Pinheiro.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Between beats and notes, Madd Rod embodies the curiosity brewing within Rodrigo Pinheiro. Originally from Lisbon, he is a DJ, producer, and commander of Inner Shah Recordings, defying the frontiers between electronic music genres through a simultaneously nostalgic and avant-garde approach. Producing from a young age, he navigated through the industry, closing the first chapter of his career with his first studio album, Dystopian Desert (2020), which unlocked fresh collaborations and remixes. The following year, he joined the roster of Discotexas, finding a musical shelter within borders. Living in Berlin since 2022, he [re]discovered his identity through a retrofuturistic sound that culminated in his second studio album, Sad Behaviour (2023)—a robust, punk, and intimate dive into the past with eyes on the future. After its release, he spent a short period in Portugal, reconnecting with the country’s club scene, establishing his event series, Panthera and working on Sad Behaviour: Expanded Edition (2024), which introduced four new singles to the LP. Whether in the studio or at the clubs, Madd Rod weaves influences from 2000s Electroclash, 1990s EBM, and the raw energy of 1980s Proto-House and Italo Disco. His latest release, the Make You Sweat EP, dropped via Inner Shah in February 2025, is proof he mastered the recipe for this genre salad. Retro, raw, and relentless, his sound sets the pulse for the movement.
Their RA profile lists Get Physical Music, Discotexas, NEIN Records, Inner Shah Recordings and 2 more.

  • Nicole.

Tbilisi, Georgia · 9 bookings since Aug 2025

“Born in Batumi and based in Berlin, Nicole has been immersed in music from a young age.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Born in Batumi and based in Berlin, Nicole has been immersed in music from a young age. The Georgian artist and producer attended music school as a child and was a drummer in a band. Guided by music as a creative medium, she started her career at the age of 17 as part of a duo named Body Thrills. After going solo, Nicole soon discovered her personal approach to DJing. Since then, she has played her energetic and emotive sets in most of the clubs in her own country and made strong appearances on the European scene. Nicole’s style is impossible to be framed as her sets are shaped by the energy she receives from the dancefloor. She equally enjoys both old-school acid techno and intelligent minimal sounds. Since her performance on Boiler Room in famed nightclub Bassiani to celebrate its reopening following the rave protests against the raids and shutdowns of Tbilisi’s clubs that gained worldwide media attention in 2018, Nicole has been referred to as one of Georgia’s leading DJs and producers. Not content with just DJing, Nicole was also working as a promoter at Tbilisi’s legendary art space and nightclub, Cafe Gallery. 2020 was a year of accomplishments for Nicole as her talents didn’t go unnoticed by prominent DJs and producers beyond Georgia’s shores. She released her debut solo EP Inside on Marco Shuttle’s techno label, Eerie Records. Her track ‘Luna’ was also featured on Nina Kraviz’s first compilation album Hot Steel - a project that was started during the pandemic to support up-and-coming artists - released via Kraviz’s label трип (pronounced 'trip').
Their RA profile lists Eerie Records, Trip, Partisan and Vacuity Records.

Djing since his teens in the late 80s, Benji was introduced to the Berlin Club circuit in the early 90s, with residencies at Tresor in the mid 90s, Bunker´s Red Hot Chill Out Club, Turbine and many others. Bored by the upcoming Minimal/Techhouse scene in Berlin, he was one of the first DJs to incorporate Italo and other odd Discostuff into his sets from 1999 onwards. Nowadays he still refuses to follow the common paths, playing skillfull cutting edge sets in numerous Clubs around Berlin, Germany and across Europe.

    the whole biography
Frinda di Lanco is a name that resonates in the underground music scene, a multifaceted talent whose career as a DJ, record digger, radio host, and label manager has carved out a unique niche in the ever-evolving landscape of sound. With an ear finely tuned to the subtleties of rhythm and a passion for unearthing hidden gems, di Lanco has become a beacon for those seeking authenticity in a world often saturated with the superficial. As a DJ, di Lanco is a master curator, weaving together eclectic sets that traverse genres and eras. Her ability to blend the familiar with the obscure creates an atmosphere that feels both intimate and expansive, inviting listeners on a journey through sound. Each performance is a testament to her deep knowledge of music history, as she seamlessly transitions from forgotten disco cuts to contemporary electronic anthems, all while maintaining a palpable energy that keeps the dance floor alive. Frinda di Lanco’s tour itinerary reads like a love letter to the global dance music scene, with stops at some of the most revered venues and festivals around the world. From the sprawling fields of Fusion Festival, to the vibrant atmosphere of Primavera Sound to the sandy beaches of Boom festival, di Lanco has a knack for turning any stage into a communal celebration of sound. In Berlin, she’s a familiar face at the city’s legendary hotspots like Italorama, Cocktail d’Amore, and Horse Meat Disco, where her eclectic selections resonate with the city’s avant-garde spirit. The Sound Metaphors and Fandango parties, known for their infectious energy, are another canvas for her artistry. Beyond playing in her hometown, di Lanco’s reach extends to the pulsating nightlife of Sunday Sunday in Mexico City, San Francisco’s very own Bar Part Time, Copenhagen’s Jolene Bar, Bellafesta Dublin, the underground vibes of Tag Chengdu in China as to the audiophile setting of Club Kaiku in Helsinki. But di Lanco’s talents extend far beyond the decks. As a record digger, she possesses an insatiable curiosity that drives her to scour thrift stores, flea markets, and dusty basements from Los Angeles to Beijing and from Oslo to Palermo in search of vinyl treasures. This dedication to the craft not only enriches her own sets but also informs her work as a label manager. At the helm of her own Avec Plaisir imprint, she is providing a platform for her very personal visions in conjunction with her partner Hendrik Stein. Her keen eye for talent and commitment to quality over quantity has positioned her label as a respected force in the industry. In her role as a radio host, di Lanco brings her infectious enthusiasm to the airwaves with her bi-monthly show „Music From Mullets“ on Cashmere Radio. Crafting shows that are as much about storytelling as they are about music, each broadcast is a carefully curated experience, blending thematic explorations, biographical facts and live recordings that reflect her diverse influences. It’s here that her personality shines through, as she connects with listeners on a personal level, sharing anecdotes and insights that make the music feel alive. Frinda di Lanco is not just a DJ or a label manager; she is a cultural architect, shaping the sonic landscape with her unique vision. In a time when the music industry often prioritizes trends over substance, di Lanco stands as a reminder of the power of passion and authenticity. Her journey is a celebration of the art of music itself, and she continues to push boundaries and explore new horizons.

  • John Loveless

“John Loveless is a DJ, radio host, writer and producer, whose unusual trip through alternative culture is defined by passion and perpetual motion.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
John Loveless is a DJ, radio host, writer and producer, whose unusual trip through alternative culture is defined by passion and perpetual motion. A lifelong immersion in music has helped define Loveless not only as a respected, instinctive club DJ, but a constant conduit for the creativity of others in the scene. Originally from the North West of England, Loveless’s long weekend in Berlin has since lasted a decade, where he maintains a unique position. As well as his own Hot Concept imprint and party series, Loveless is known for his creative work alongside Erol Alkan and Palms Trax on the labels Phantasy and CWPT, introducing diverse talent to record shelves, refining an instinct for music of rare character. This open-minded philosophy has also defined Loveless’s approach to radio, as heard across two long-running residencies in Berlin. His monthly ‘Display Resolution’ show has broadcast on Cashmere Radio since 2017, and will conclude in 2025 after one-hundred episodes, each blending house, techno, disco, dub, indie and experimental music with unfiltered curiosity. Since 2020, Loveless has been a fixture on Refuge Worldwide, the community-focused station where he has also established an occasional, anecdote-heavy residency with Palms Trax, and curated several takeovers. In unison with fellow Brit-turned-Berlin Gramrcy, the pair enjoy a lockdown-born studio partnership, one that has expanded beyond remixes for Discovery Zone, W.H. Lung and Real Lies, to a lightning bolt of an original production in ‘Highdive’. Released on Phantasy Sound in 2022, the track memorably anchored sets by DJs from 2ManyDjs and Peggy Gou, before soundtracking catwalks for Moschino and Hugo Boss. After a long search for suitably ludicrous sounds, further experiments are set to rattle bass bins soon. Having extensively contributed as a writer to The Guardian, CRACK and Bandcamp Daily as John Thorp, Loveless was responsible for both the introduction and a number of essays for ‘Techno is Boring’, a book of photography from Daniel Avery and Keffer. Humorous and introspective, earning compliments from Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh, the book was introduced by a European tour, including a transcendent back-to-back with Avery at Berlin’s ambient-oriented kwia, and an alternately thunderous appearance at FVTVR in Paris. Loveless has passed at various tempos through iconic nightlife institutions such as The White Hotel, Ohm, The Warehouse Project and Hang Dai. At Alkan’s request, his versatile ear broke down eras on 2020’s ‘A Psychedelic Sensibility’, a compilation blending highlights and obscurities from the history of Phantasy Sound, which was awarded Compilation of The Month by Groove Magazine. A sequel, ‘A Psychedelic Sensibility II: The Remixes’, followed in 2023. Following two compilations raising funds for charities Doctors Without Borders and Habibi.Works, Hot Concept continues to introduce like-minded underground talents like Teplice, Yr Lovely Dead Moon and Beigean, pairing their productions with boundary-free remixes from esoteric artists such as Peder Mannerfelt and aya.
Their RA profile lists Phantasy Sound, CWPT and Hot Concept.

    the whole biography
Telephones is renowned as a DJ for his freespirited curveball-mix ranging from balearic tutti- frutti, proto-house and percussion-workouts to cosmic techno, discokraut-gymnastics and outerworldly explorations. Starting with primitive PC-software and DJing in the late 90s, he has since equally focused on production and DJing, now with more than 20 years experience behind decks and knobs. A firm believer in quality over quantity, Telephones has released a sparse, but highly sought after discography on acclaimed underground-lables like Running Back, Sex Tags UFO, Acido, Love On The Rocks and Klasse Wrecks, as well as production work and remixes for legends like José Padilla, Joan Bibiloni and Vangelis Katsoulis to mention some. In 2016 he released his debut album, "Vibe Telemetry" on Running Back, taking his eclecticism and sound one step further, expanding the palette with influences from early Norwegian club-roots, Ambient House, NY House and Disco, 90s UK Balearic, Italo House, Underground Resistance and Detroit Techno. The album received praise and reviews from publications such as XLR8R, Mixmag, iDJ, Future Music, Resident Advisor, DJ Mag and Testpressing. 2019 saw the birth of his new label, European Carryall, kicking off with the archival-series "From The Vaults 1998-2018 Vol 1 & 2", all 12"s selling out within days, and getting both one and two represses. Since then he has followed up with a string of sold out releases ranging from banging house, downtempo hip-hop and breaks-inspired excursions and balearic techno. The recent years has taken Telephones across the globe with frequent tours in Asia, Australia and the Americas, playing in over 35 different countries and as diverse locations as Sao Paulo, Taipei, New York, Mexico City, Hanoi, Tokyo and Melbourne, as well as frequently laying it down on his Berlin/EU home-turf at some of the best underground clubs, such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Bassiani, Corsica Studios, Griessmuehle, Jaeger and festivals like Love International, Dimensions, Pitch Music and Arts, The Garden and Bahidora.
Their RA profile lists Running Back, Full Pupp, International Feel, Saft and 6 more.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Martin Meißner aka Martin Underwood took his first steps into the electronic music scene in 2009. At this time he had little to no knowledge about Techno. Being passionate about music since his childhood, he started DJing in the basement of a friend and quickly got addicted with mixing and digging music. Inspired by artists like Rodriguez Jr., Martin Buttrich, Schlepp Geist and Cotumo, he fell in love with trippy sounds and hypnotic hi-hats, which is still deeply rooted in his sound. He played gigs in venues like Kater Blau, AEDEN, Knüppel, Haselhorst 13 and Magnet, organized club events and open airs, while he founded his collective Techno Obst with 2 friends. Martin follows his dream of creating cooperation projects with other passionate musicians and collectives, above all others befriended "Hochspannung" and "Herz & Leber" collective. Therefore he founded the event agency TxO to bring together passionate technicians and event organiserers, with DJs, performers and other artists to create precious moments for people. In 2022 he formed a DJ duo with HRTML, to further discover his love for Powerhouse. Past Gigs: 21.10.2023 Techno Obst x AEDEN @AEDEN 23.06.2023 SoNaRa Festival [Cottbus] 01.05.2023 1.
