Since his introduction to Berlin's deeply rooted musical heritage over 15 years ago, Jimi Handtrix has steadily developed an undying passion for "future roots" music - from early roots & dub to the newest in jungle, drum'n'bass & beyond. Heavily influenced by the early sounds of the UK's rave scene and Caribbean sound system culture, he inevitably found his calling as a deejay, promoter, label manager and musical activist, and hasn't looked back since. Through his continuous involvement in projects such as Dub Der Guten Hoffnung and Serendubity, as well as more recent endeavours such as A Bass Odyssey, his vinyl label Higher Ground Recordings, and his weekly dub session Irie Tuesdays, he has found the means to express himself whilst seamlessly blending a large spectrum of styles, textures and tempos, thus creating a unique musical journey within each of his performances. Since the beginning of the nineties, DJ Upzet is a fan of electronic music. At first he was attracted to Acid and Minimal Techno. 1997, at the age of 16, he discovered his all-consuming passion for drum & bass music and in 1998 he started mixing it. 1999, at the age of 18, he discovered his all-consuming passion for drum & bass music. Since this time, Upzet has been constantly motivated to perfect his mixing skills and he attaches great importance to diversity in all of his sets. Today, Liquid Funk, Deep, Dark, Tech and Neurofunk are his usual styles, but mixing Oldskool Jungle and Happybreakbeat also gives him a sense of delight. In 2001, after experiences with various artists, he started organizing drum & bass events. In 2009, Upzet moved to Berlin, where he's still djing and where he promotes some clubdates like "Out of Mind", "Step higher", "Infected", "Lucid Dreaming" and other special events . In 2010 he founded the Berlin based Out of Mind Crew: Upzet, DJane Cyrilla, Nursa, Hardy, Stone and SolHo. 2013 is when Upzet finally stepped into the world of making producing beats, he is currently working on his first set of tracks so watch this space! Anton Quasi is a 34-year-old DJ from Berlin. Growing up with a particular love for Hip-Hop, Reggae, Dub, and Dubstep, he discovered Drum & Bass in 2008 through the album "More than Alot" by Chase & Status and the debut album from Netsky. Fast forward to 2011, Anton attended his first Drum & Bass event which got him hooked. In 2018, Anton took his first steps as a DJ and organised his own open air events. Between 2019-21 he was the technical manager for the "Wem gehört die Stadt?" demo truck for DNB in Berlin. Post Corona he played a few times at VOID, catching the owners ears and shortly after became a resident in March 2022. In November of the same year, Anton teamed up with American producer and DJ Skulder & Mully to launch the record label, "Stoic Music".
