Sky Deep is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and live artist known for groove-driven sets built for bodies fi rst. Rooted in House, her sound expands fl uidly into funk, bass, and techno depending on the room, the energy, and the moment.
An experienced presence in Berlin’s underground and on international stages, she has spent years refi ning a style that prioritizes rhythm, fl ow, and tension-building over trend cycles. Her DJ sets are physical, playful, and deeply locked into the dancefl oor, guiding crowds through long-form arcs that feel both instinctive and intentional.
For hybrid bookings, Sky extends her DJ setup with live drum machines, synth textures, and occasional vocals layered directly into the mix. The hybrid format maintains the fl ow of a full DJ set while introducing live elements that add unpredictability and performance edge, treating the booth as a responsive instrument rather than a fi xed playback system.
Whether playing a queer underground rave, a club institution, or an international festival, Sky Deep brings experience, control, and an unwavering focus on movement. Expect groove, heat, and a dancefl oor that stays engaged from fi rst track to last.
"Everything is Possible!" Vela reveals the potential of music: Diving into the flow of a dense electronic texture of tech house, deep house, breaks and techno, she creates a space of freedom. Here sound rules the world. Constraints fall away. The social rulebook shatters on the ground of the facts of all-encompassing sound power. The spirit of a long international music history, a co-creator of the underground and her involvement in FLINTA* initiatives can be felt here.
If sound can be put into words, then her "BadassBassBombardement" is the term for gripping sets that combine experience, pure sensitivity for music and the scene, dynamics and charm. Her style is known for "kick-ass bass lines, forward driving beats, and the remarkable use of ‚brake-downs layering’“ and has been bringing electronic club culture to Eschschloraque since 1999, where anything is possible thanks to her.
