Who they are
“Italian-born and based in Berlin, he has developed a personal interpretation of techno rooted in craft and emotional presence.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Italian-born and based in Berlin, he has developed a personal interpretation of techno rooted in craft and emotional presence. His background as a producer and DJ reflects a wide-ranging taste, where opposites collide and form new directions in his creative process. Raw textures meet soulful undertones, repetition meets detail, and tension meets warmth, forming a unified structure that carries feeling as much as function. Diversity is central to his work, an honest balance between driven energy and the more human, melodic impulses that often remain overlooked in techno. His production catalogue mirrors this dual identity. Releases on Dolly reveal the fresher, groove-led and Detroit-inflected side of his sound, while work on Tar Hallow and MORD reflects his darker, floor-focused approach, raw, physical and built for pressure. Across these projects, the contrasts that define him become a coherent language, each track contributing to a form of techno that preserves its essence while pushing it forward. On the club circuit, Earwax has shaped his identity across spaces such as Berghain, Blitz, RSO, and Radion among others. These rooms have played a defining role in refining his dynamic between depth and impact, allowing him to explore how his sound interacts with the physical and emotional dimensions of the dancefloor. At the core of the Earwax project is a commitment to feeling. His sets and productions aim to resonate on multiple levels, offering experiences that move listeners both physically and emotionally. Within the rolling grooves, the raw textures and the subtle changes in pressure, there is a clear sense of preservation, for the music, for the craft and for the reasons that led him to create in the first place.Their RA profile lists Dolly, Mord and Tar Hallow.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, Berghain · often with Lyric, none of them here that night

She began her musical journey as a singer and instrumentalist in metal bands before transitioning into electronic music. In 2015, Ireen founded Under My Feet., a London-based collective and label that has become a hub for provocative exhibitions and showcases blending power electronics with experimental sounds. A decade later, she launched REVERSE at Säule Berghain, a party series dedicated to amplifying women, trans, and non-binary artists and creating uncompromised space for expression within the underground techno scene. The project has since expanded to London through a collaboration with SchneidersKeller, featuring curated workshops for FLINTA artists. Ireen bridges the worlds of experimental, electronic, and techno music as a versatile artist and resident DJ at the iconic Tresor Berlin. Her performances, known for their seamless fusion of avant-garde textures and pulsating dance rhythms, have taken her to prestigious venues like Berghain, Kraftwerk, Funkhaus, Basement NY, and FOLD London, as well as major festivals such as Atonal and CTM Vorspiel. Renowned for her genre-defying productions, Ireen collaborates with acclaimed artists including Drew McDowall of Coil, Sorcery, Chloe Lula, Infinity Division (fka Minimal Violence), and Kamikaze Space Programme. Notably, Ireen and Sorcery won the prestigious Raster open call for Soundtrack Europe 2025, with their work featured in a project associated with the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. She also contributed to Imogen Heap's track What Have You Done to Me, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile artist who pushes creative boundaries across genres. Her discography, celebrated for its emotional depth and innovation, includes releases on labels such as Tresor Records, KR3, and Sonic Groove Experiments. Her 2020 debut LP, In The Land Of Silence, earned widespread acclaim for its evocative soundscapes of moving melodies and rumbling drones. Alongside her musical career, Ireen is actively involved in education. With support from organizations such as Polyphase and Subverted, and funding from the Berlin Music Board, she has conducted Ableton workshops specifically designed for women and non-binary individuals, empowering underrepresented communities in electronic music. Her educational initiatives have also extended to institutions like Berklee College of Music and Ramp Music Academy. Ireen's influence reaches beyond music; she is an advocate for inclusivity and innovation in the arts, continuously pushing the boundaries of leftfield electronic music.Their RA profile lists Tresor, Sonic Groove, Instruments Of Discipline, BITE and 4 more.Recently at Tresor / Globus, Berghain · often with Chloe Lula, Telephones, Shawescape Renegade, none of them here that night
“For Guy Blanken, music is a matter of the heart, and a boundless playing field for sonic explorations.”

the whole biography
For Guy Blanken, music is a matter of the heart, and a boundless playing field for sonic explorations. His compulsive curiosity has led him to unusual corners of the electronic music realm – spawning a multifaceted, yet distinctive discography. As Makam, he has investigated anything from exhilarating club anthems to contemplative downtempo moods. And as Talismann, he is probing ever deeper into the abyss of sinister soundscapes and industrial drum patterns. When Guy hasn’t locked himself in the studio, or isn’t tending to one of his labels, he loves engaging with the dance floor during one of his tireless DJ or live sets. Finding a home at Amsterdam institutions like Trouw, and De School (the now closed down) Dekmantel has given him the opportunity and freedom to connect with fellow travellers, and continue on his fascinating musical journey. Talismann is Guy’s darker incarnation. From the moment he delivered tracks like ‘Mars Wars’ and ‘Zula’ (2012), his take-no-prisoner approach has been indisputable. Talismann Records has cemented its position as the home of intense, inky techno and ambient. Moreover, Slagmann, his collaboration with Slagwerk Den Haag, has resulted in one of the most experimental, and arguably most intriguing albums in his oeuvre ‘Krysalis’. Following the release of his illustrious 3-part album ‘PERCUSSION’, Talismann boldly articulates his distinctive vision of techno. Embarking on the esteemed KLINIEK series, a nine-part EP collection, he delves into uncharted territories and boundaries to redefine the essence of late-night destress. Guy meticulously refines his unparalleled vision forged from over two decades of club expertise through the exclusive KLINIEK events, The story continues.Their RA profile lists Talismann.Recently at Else, RSO.BERLIN · often with stranger (NL), none of them here that night

Coming from a musician family—her grandfather a composer in the GDR, her grandmother his lyricist, and her mother a DJ & former club worker in Berlin—she grew up surrounded by music and the pulse of nightlife. Her sound is raw yet refined, emotional yet physical—a fusion of hypnotic, tribal, and industrial techno, staying true to her rhythmic roots while carving out a distinct space in the underground. With a background in dance, she approaches music as movement—each set unfolding through tension and release. Splitting her time between Berlin and Mexico City for the past 7 years, MASCHA has become a vital force in both scenes. She hosted LIEBE on Aire Libre 105.3 FM, curates MUSTER on THF Radio, and in 2025 debuted her first live set with an orchestra, merging classical instrumentation with techno’s raw pulse. A dedicated advocate for queer and FLINTA* communities, MASCHA has led DJ workshops and panels in Germany, Mexico, and Honduras, fostering inclusion and amplifying new voices in electronic music. With over a decade behind the booth, MASCHA is more than a DJ, she stands as a connector, innovator, and storyteller, shaping the future of club culture through the unifying power of rhythm.Recently at Renate, OYE Kreuzkoelln, Skalitzer Str. 36 · often with Ursula Prawn, Elis, Mango, none of them here that night
