Mat is a Berlin based vinyl collector, music producer, DJ, and event producer known in Berlin’s club community for his energetic and soulful stories written in his mixing. His love for collecting vinyl started in 2014, digging in every city or village he found himself in, amassing a deep collection of music from any genre, be it soul, jazz, funk, hip hop, house, disco, techno, electro, ambient touching both past and present. He plays music with groove whether it’s house, techno, disco, deep dubs, or touches of acid. Mat was raised in Berlin, though born in the city of Pittsburgh in the U.S, and was influenced by musicians and DJs predominantly from the African American and Latin American communities. To him, the artform of DJing is a pathway to bring the music, the bodies, and communities together through love. Mat has been organizing and producing events in Berlin’s scene for 10 years, with projects Club Nature, Funky Soul, and Brot which are platforms for artists to unleash their instinctual creativity. Each event provides a space for compassion and artistic freedom, allowing artists to find their voice and dancers to swing. He's also part of other queer communities in Berlin like Body Language and The Palace collective.Their RA profile lists Domesticated.Recently at Kaos Berlin, Kwia, Bulbul Berlin · often with Do you know Juno, Hideto Omura, Turk & Fin, none of them here that night

their own biography
the whole biography
elliephunk (she/her) is an old-school CD collector turned Berlin club regular, with an honest passion for music that soothes the soul. Raised between Taipei and KC, with formative years in Spain, her sound draws from global influences: from jazz, bossa nova, RnB / hip-hop, to classic house grooves that now define her signature sets. Her sets balance soulful melodies with spicy rhythms, weaving in handbag vocals, Afro/Latin beats, UKG breaks, and 90’s nostalgia into playful, bass-heavy blends. Beyond the club, she is founder of @casadephunk, a community-rooted project that centers the concept of home, spotlighting queer, POC, FLINTA artists across music, art, fashion, and performance. Also, as resident at Refuge Worldwide, where she hosts “shoes-off”. ----- The story of @casadephunk started in 2022, with trip back to Barcelona — inviting along a group of friends, bringing her brand new USB loaded with spankin’ hot house tunes and a “fits perfectly in my carry-on” DDJ-400 mixer …her crew never made it out to Barcelona’s nightclubs.Recently at ZK/U (Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik), Renate, Maaya · often with Organza, Robin Flux, Triqi, none of them here that night
