“Originally hailing from Turin, Italy, Lorenzo Chiabotti began his love affair with music at a very young age.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Originally hailing from Turin, Italy, Lorenzo Chiabotti began his love affair with music at a very young age. First playing the drums and then studying music at the Music School of Art, where he began to learn many different elements of music. It was during this time that he began to study step sequencing and midi programs that really took him to the next level of his passion for electronic music. Once he began to experiment with these sounds he no longer wanted to play drums and traded in his drum set for machines that he could use to create the sound of his symphonic love. It was also during his teenage years that he began to immerse himself in Turin’s rave scene where his inspiration continued to develop and grow. Soon everything would change for the young determined artist. He decided to spend a summer season in Ibiza in 2006. It was here that he would meet Luc Ringeisen in his record store on the island. Lorenzo gave Luc a demo of his unreleased productions and after a few weeks he became a part of the Vinyl Club family. Shortly after that he began to hear his tracks being played all over the island that summer in clubs like DC-10 and Privilege. After a few summer seasons of living in Ibiza, Lorenzo wanted something more. His good friend Luc Ringeisen had moved from Ibiza and kept telling Lorenzo to move to Berlin. Finally in 2010 he would relocate permanently to Berlin. It was there that he would find a new level of inspiration from the vast variety of quality music in the excitement of the flourishing Berlin scene. He took this inspiration directly to the studio to begin to further develop and evolve his sound. Shortly after relocating to Berlin he began to collaborate with Vinylclub label mate Maki Polne where they released a slew of records together on the label as well as their recent releases on Delooped Records, Vekton, and Vekton Black. Lorenzo also has heavily collaborated with Yaya of Desolat an old friend from his past in Ibiza. Their track “GrandeTosse” together on Kina was well received critically and in the underground circuit. Lorenzo’s sound can be described as funk driven Techno that is reshuffled with House and adds just a bit of darkness that keeps it all tightly woven together in a forward thinking manner. When he isn’t in the studio you can catch him behind the decks throughout Berlin and the world, playing in places such as Doctor Sax, The Zoo Project, Club Der Visionäre, and Arena.
Their RA profile lists Desolat, Vinylclub Recordings, Kina Music, Vekton Musik and 6 more.

“Que Sakamoto is a musician and producer From Tokyo, Japan.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Que Sakamoto is a musician and producer From Tokyo, Japan. He is known for his eclectic blend of diverse electronic music styles, as well as his use of vintage equipment and instruments in his productions. His DJ sets are always a surprise, because he caters his performances for the crowd in each country he visits. He never repeats the same vibe, always tending towards weird, interesting music, as this is how he expresses his Japanese identity. In one go, he can take the crowd from disco to garage to dub, even to trance and experimental breakbeat. For his current and future projects, Que Sakamoto is shifting his focus towards his Japanese roots. His passion is Japanese music from the 70’s to 90’s, and playing this music to a new generation, especially in Japan, to help connect people to their roots. This new direction reflects Que Sakamoto's deep appreciation for his cultural heritage and his desire to showcase the rich musical traditions of Japan to a global audience. Que Sakamoto's most famous track is "Minimüzikhol", a collaboration with NT, which was released in 2019 and features a mashup of Japanese and Turkish electronic music. The track was widely played in clubs and radio shows around the world and helped to establish Que Sakamoto as a rising talent in the dance music scene. He is also a prolific radio DJ, having published mixes through Red Light Radio, The Lot Radio, Beats In Space, Rinse FM, and NTS Radio, as well as hosting his own show on Tibilisi’s Mutant Radio, 思考と発想 “Thoughts and Ideas”. In addition to his solo work, Que Sakamoto has collaborated with other artists and DJs, including John Talabot, Gaye Su Akyol and Hoodoo Fushimi. Que Sakamoto has also partnered with Japanese pioneer NT (Noriyuki Takagi), whose expertise in sound engineering is helping him create a truly authentic and innovative sound. In 2022, Que Sakamoto's music took him on a tour of 22 countries, including Latin South America, Europe, USA, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, where he wowed audiences with his infectious beats and high-energy performances, playing at festivals and venues, such as Panorama Bar (Berlin), Mamba Negra (São Paulo), Fuji Rock Festival (Japan) and Sub Sonic Festival (Australia) Garbicz Festival (Poland) Artlab (Buenos Aires). Que Sakamoto is poised to make an even bigger impact on the music scene in the years to come.

He plays elegant, groove-driven, dance music that inspires movement and is a lover of the dance floor and all it represents. Born and raised in New York City, he now calls Berlin home. Prior chapters in Seattle and Bretagne, and a thread that still runs through San Francisco. their own biography

    the whole biography
Kenneth Scott spent his formative years surrounded by hippies in a small town in rural Iowa, and somewhere amongst their penchant for Trancendental Meditation they introduced a young Mr. Scott to rave music. Soon after, between dabbling in Hip-Hop production, tinkering with cheap hardware, and full immersion in mid-90s House, Drum N Bass and IDM, Scott found himself on a one-way train to the distant shores of San Francisco, where his bastardized melange of electronic dance music was welcomed with wide-open arms. After several years building notoriety as a promoter, collaborative performer, and consummate after-party DJ extraordinaire, Scott shifted his attention more seriously to solo production, which is garnering him increasing accolades in his current home of Berlin. Kenneth Scott is a busy man still on a one-way train, with no brakes – as proven by releases on Vakant, Another, Legwork, and his own Bad Animal imprint.
Their RA profile lists Vakant, Circus Company, Souvenir Music, Mo's Ferry Prod. and 6 more.
