Coppola is a permanent member of the studio17 collective based in Stuttgart. Born in South Italy he realizes from an early age that music is having a huge impact on his life. At the early age of 14, he is visiting several House- and Tech-House clubs in Milano and is having his first touchpoints with 2000’s electronic music. After making these exceptional experiences Coppola’s life changes forever and he dives into djing. 2 years later and with only being 16 years old Coppola has his first gig where he plays for about 100 people. He still owns and works with his DJM600 which he gets during that time. Learning is essential for Coppola and he is always striving to expand his musical horizon. That’s why he is traveling to musical hotspots like Ibiza, Amsterdam, Barcelona, London while being in berlin countless times. The same applies to countless festivals Coppola is traveling to for inspiration. Every travel and experience with music leaves him highly inspired and he is doing his best to transfer this inspiration in his style. Early he discovers his passion for vinyl and is entering his 9th year as a vinyl DJ playing several vinyl-only sets. ‘There's a lot of thought and passion when it comes to playing vinyl. You need a lot of preparation time. Every track is lined up in a thoughtful way trying to create a special musical experience. That’s why vinyl can uniquely express the love for music.’ Coppola is also striving for a multifaceted music selection and is never missing a vinyl store to expand his repertoire. His music sound ranges from raw minimal, breaker beats, downtempo, garage sound, ro-house, micro house, deep tech, tech house, electronica house, and experimental. Coppola can do it all. ‘I’m trying to offer a variety while presenting a special vibe coming with each set I’m playing.
