In 1980 N.O.I.A. win the first Italian rock festival and EMI releases a compilation including their songs "Europe" and "Hunger in the east". The second period in N.O.I.A.'s career begins in 1983 when they sign to "Italian Records" and become a studio group with three members only and no live activity. Their music becomes easier but always repetitive and obsessive. Between 1983 and 1985 N.O.I.A.'s singles "Looking for love", "Stranger in a strange land", "Do you wanna dance", "Truelove", "Try and See" and the mini LP "The sound of love" are pretty successful on the European dance market. In 1985 they sign to "Rose Rosse". Between 1985 and 1988 they make the singles "Umbaraumba" and "Summertime blues". In the same period Davide Piatto founds the "Rebels Without a Cause", a classical rock-blues group where he can finally give vent to all his guitarism. The Rebels have some success and a thick live activity. Between 1987 and 1990 they release three albums: "Naked lunch", "Why don't you die?" and "John's comin' down". In the same period Bruno Magnani founds the "Sacred Circle", a group that combines a strictly electronic rhythm section with a high amount of guitar feedback. They make few live acts but good. Their porno-sacred performances are unforgettable. Between 1990 to 1994 nothing interesting happens, Magnani and Piatto keep on working together in studio and making incredibly few tracks. In 1994 their music takes a trance direction and over the electronic stuff they add more and more samples of traditional African and Asian music: the "Holy Hole" are born.The combination of trance-dub and global influences make their sound immediately recognizable. In 2000 they come back in studio to record old N.O.I.A.'s tunes for a new cd out in 2003 for the label Ersatz Audio.Their RA profile lists Opilec Music and N.O.I.A. The debut album from Curses, 'Romantic Fiction' dropped on Jennifer Cardini's Dischi Autunno imprint in October 2018, launching his live act which brings the guitars, vocals and energy of the album to stage as a duo. Whether it's performing live at the late Andrew Weatherall's Convenanza Festival, or DJng in the main room at Circoloco DC-10, Curses manages to bring his punk and new wave energy to dance floors small and big. Always keeping true to his signature sound of the dark 80's and now. Curses has released on labels such as Hoga Nord, Bordello A Parigi, Throne Of Blood, and his own imprint, Ombra International, and known for incorporating live guitars and instruments into his remix work. In 2021, Curses curated a double vinyl compilation (NEXT WAVE ACID PUNX) on Eskimo Recordings, showcasing a passion for New Beat, Early EBM, Post-punk and Italo. The 2nd album. As a versatile artist working across vinyl and digital DJing, music production, workshop hosting, and event curation, she is fully immersed in the world of music, going all in across every part of the creative and organisational process, driven by a love for music and curiosity. She is the founder and curator of Pozione d’amore, an event series hosted at Slovenia’s legendary Klub K4. Pozione d’amore has hosted artists like Kendal, Andi, Maruwa, and Zaatar, and has also expanded beyond Slovenia, with appearances in Italy, Germany, and Austria. Dash performed at some of Europe’s most respected festivals and venues, including Fusion Festival, SONUS Festival, Mahagoni Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, Kater Blau, ELSE, and Drugstore. Franz Scala’s sets are as diverse as the music he curates as label head of Slow Motion. Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music. Born in Italy and now a resident of Berlin for a decade Franz has his roots in noise rock and elettronica but was led by the record collectors passion into acquiring a taste for modern and not so modern dance floor music. He frequently inspires dancers in clubs all over Europe with his eclectic blend of spacey House, New Wave, Italo and Acid speckled with hints of Electro and Chicago House. Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has releases on World Unknown, Bordello A Parigi, Bahnsteig 23, Tusk Wax, Mechatronica or Discodromo´s Cocktail d’Amore Music. Franz is link to many events around the german capital such as the monthly Wrong Era, Italian Dance Wave and Italorama night in Panorama Bar, Magic Waves or New Dance Fantasy Festival. Born Wellington New Zealand. Started mixing around 1980 after being influenced by the (Italo)disco scene in The Hague. Professional DJ career started in 1990 with squat and club parties in The Hague. Got an installment in LA D.S. club in The Hague in 1992 until 1996 to DJ weekly House, Garage & Disco on Sunday nights. Appeared inbetween on several local parties and clubs. Ever since 1994 weekly guest DJ for regional pirate radio stations together with I-f and crew. (Trend FM, Radical Radio) Since 1999 till now active as DJ in the European clubcircuit (Panorama Bar Berlin, Barcelona, Paard Den Haag , Melkweg Amsterdam , Moscow, Dublin, Glasgow, Madrid, Geneva, Munich etc.) First record produced in 1994 as Silverstream for Top Secret records (TS-004) Started The Parallax Corporation together with I-F in 1998 and produced the clubhit 'Lift Off (Viewlexx V12/5) followed up by the Cocadisco series (Viewlexx V12/10, V12/11, V12/12 & V12/16) The Cocadisco Album (2-LP/CD) later appeared on Disko B. Involved in The Parallax Corporation remix for Jolly Music's-Radio Jolly (Sony) Adult.'s-Hand to Phone (Clone), Ganymed's-Music Takes Me Higher (Sabotage) and Japanese Telecom remix on Detroit's Intuit Solar Records. Last vinyl production as The Conservatives (2003) together with I-F. Since the first days a regular mixer on The Cybernetic Broadcasting System (2002 till now).
