The core element is dub, but the diversions are manifesting through 70 - 170 BPM ranged music, mainly centered on sub-bass, amenized breaks and turntablism elements. The Forward Sisters joined forces in 2022 to become a Berlin based duo of Dub Music lovers. They met at an FLINTA* open decks night in a record store. The Forward Sisters consist of Anni, known as "AnyDub" and Keshia aka "Sista Kesh I-a" . Anni is a Berlin native Selectress, specialized in various Dub Music, which she started collecting in 2017. Bavarian born Keshia started collecting and playing Reggae and Dub Music in 2021. The two passionate vinyl selectresses strive for a high concentration of Dub-Music. Both playing songs broaching the issues of social disparities and creating Irie vibes they love to share with all those listening. The focus of the Forward Sisters music selection is Dub Music with feminine vocals, melodical versions or in a heavy Stepper-Style, as well as playing songs of Modern Roots. Vinyl only. Since 2023 they have been organizing events themselves, with a focus on inviting various Sound Systems or supporting female DJs. So far, they played on sessions at various Clubs in Berlin - like Void, Badehaus, Yaam etc & at many alternative youth- and culture centers. Forward Sisters loves to travel and played at sessions further away, such as in Hamburg, Munich and much more, also beyond Germany in Switzerland or Poland. Their common goals for the future are to get more familiar with the technology behind Sound Systems and to spread Dub Music in the Berlin Club Culture. Larhythmix began by layering beats under looped guitar phrases. After discarding early SoundCloud releases and refining the project’s direction, a debut EP called Faith was released in 2013. Initially based in Bristol, the project drew from the city’s trip-hop lineage before evolving toward a heavier, bass-led sound incorporating elements of trap, drum & bass and wider electronic influences. A steady run of self-releases followed, alongside label appearances on Beatsupply, Equal Eyes Records, SVNSET WAVES, Batik Records and Jumpsuit Records. His sound moves between dub techno, deep house, and hypnotic minimal grooves, with a strong focus on atmosphere, flow, and subtle intensity. Known for his immersive approach behind the decks, Migz builds sets that evolve gradually, drawing listeners into a deep, continuous journey. With a long-standing passion for digging for records, his vinyl collection plays a central role in shaping his identity and sound, resulting in carefully curated selections and authenticity over trends. Over the years, he has shared the booth with respected artists such as XDB, Fred P, Levon Vincent, Eduardo De La Calle, Zadig & more, holding his own alongside some of the most refined names in the underground scene.
