Compelled by collectivity, spirituality, and care, Alif Hilal (fka Lyra Pramuk) conjures a rare form of devotional music. The Berlin-based, American multidisciplinary artist—vocalist, producer, composer, DJ, performance artist, and astrologer—merges the limitless potential of the human voice with the magic of technology. Classically trained and raised in Berlin’s club scene, Alif\s genre-fluid sound, rooted in improvisation, experimental techniques and left-field electronics, has earned acclaim from diverse outlets including Pitchfork, Mixmag, and Vogue. Her 2025 album Hymnal—a book of transformational worship songs—explores the ecstatic genesis of sacred rituals, expanding the themes of her celebrated 2020 debut Fountain (Bedroom Community). Sought after in various musical worlds, Alif has collaborated with Moses Sumney and Sam Smith in a reimagining of Sylvester’s “You Make Me Feel” and has worked closely with Holly Herndon, Caterina Barbieri, Colin Self, and Ben Frost. As a live performer, she shapes her shows into collective rituals, which she has staged across the globe at Pitchfork Festival London, MoMA PS1, Sonar, Club to Club, and Unsound Adelaide—upcoming performances include Roskilde, Rewire, and Nuits Sonores. She recently founded pop.soil, an experimental hub and label that nurtures artistic growth, collaboration, and exchange through digital content, releases, events, and an NTS radio show.

“ophélie is a French, Berlin-based DJ and producer with an affinity for low frequencies, intricate percussions and bass-heavy music in all its forms.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
ophélie is a French, Berlin-based DJ and producer with an affinity for low frequencies, intricate percussions and bass-heavy music in all its forms. As an early lover of dub music, UK techno, IDM, and illegal raves, their sound often finds itself at the intersection between dubstep, techno, IDM, with hints of psychedelic music and trance. They are interested in the fluid, organic, and often melancholic aspect of music, achieved through combining multiple layers of sounds, creating weird (poly)rhythms, and drawing inspiration from natural landscapes, such as the forest and ocean. As a producer, they enjoy experimenting with FX, textures, granular and generative sounds, and all different kinds of percussions. They released tracks on Pressure Dome, Bait, Early Reflex and traverse and have released their debut EP on hundert Records in February 2024. ophélie’s Refuge Worldwide residency, Therapy Dog, and event series at Kwia, allow her to experiment and explore the different genres she’s into, while often sharing the decks with friends and like-minded artists. As part of Open Music Lab, a non-profit collective offering free music and production courses for people from Berlin’s diverse communities to connect and create together, she's interested in ways to support emerging artists outside the mainstream, in the hope to build a more equitable music scene.
Their RA profile lists hundert, Pressure Dome, Early Reflex, Ethos Records and 1 more.

  • “Through an ecologically engaged multidisciplinary creative practice, they investigate diverse biomes and acoustic occurrences with sonic and visual recording techniques.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Through an ecologically engaged multidisciplinary creative practice, they investigate diverse biomes and acoustic occurrences with sonic and visual recording techniques. Their work blends sound, music, images, and text to emphasize listening gestures and interconnectedness. Here, sonic ecology, photographic, and electroacoustic forms bring the bio- and geological features of the explored environments to the foreground. By immersing listeners into environmental propositions and (sur)realities, publications, live performances, and installations bear the potential to inspire individuals to shift their perspective and sense of scale while experiencing otherness and alternative forms of being, ultimately making listening a political act. In solidarity with a wounded planet, Diserens’ practice invites people to attune to the present moment in an attempt at rethinking caring strategies and our relationship with the world and its biotic communities. > Based in Berlin (Germany), Pablo Diserens is also the co-founder/curator of forms of minutiae, a publishing platform for attuning listenings, electroacoustic music, sonic ecology and visual art. > Member of CENSE (Central European Network for Sonic Ecologies) since 2021.
