On Friday, 16 October, Cosmic Romance takes over Bi Nuu for a special showcase centred around the live energy of Stella & The Longos.
Following an extensive European tour that saw the band perform on some of the continent’s best club and festival stages this summer, their return to Berlin is long overdue. Stella & The Longos will bring their much-loved music to the stage, translating the distinctive sound that made them such an important part of the Cosmic Romance story into a powerful live experience. Expect soulful grooves, tropical rhythms, zouk, boogie and the unique energy that has become a defining part of the band’s sound.
Joining them for the evening is Sua Galera, making their Berlin debut. Led by keyboardist and producer Eskil Bauer, the Dortmund-based collective channels a multinational identity, reflected both in its sound and its name: “Sua Galera,” Portuguese for “his crew.
Their upcoming debut album moves effortlessly between Brasil funk and Mediterranean inspired grooves, all filtered through the timeless sound aesthetics of 1970s and 1980s studio productions. For their Berlin debut, the nine-piece band will give the audience an exclusive first preview of their forthcoming album ahead of its release on Cosmic Romance.
Completing the lineup is Dimitra Zina, Greek curator, DJ, and radio host who's at the heart of Berlin's growing jazz and soul movement. Her eclectic selection will guide the night from the dancefloor onwards.

their own biography
the whole biography
The meeting between the two artists sparked off and after a few studio sessions, the idea of producing an album was born. With a shared interest in Outer-National music, a common love for the french multicultural productions of the 80s and an insatiable desire to innovate won out. The album « Détends-Toi » was released in the summer of 2022 on the new Cosmic Romance Records label. The members of the band created especially for this occasion, have their roots all around the world: German, French, Italian, and Latin-American – they all give the project an original flavor. Their sound pays tributé to the Zouk and Boogie of the 80’s, seen through the glasses of the Paris underground, and recontextualised to today’s scene. Stella’s slightly broken voice and the fiery verses give the project a sensual dimension. The chemistry between the musicians persists, even after the project is completed and rehearsals follow one another. It is time for the group to perform on festival stages to set the summer of 2023 ablaze.Last at Sonnenraum in May · often with Charlotte Colace, Stella Zekri, none of them here that night
