With an unmistakably frisky approach to the craft, Roi Perez’s extensive DJ-sets anchor dance floors and locks the room into a shared frequency, creating an atmosphere of togetherness, where loose sweaty bodies tune in and resolve into a single collective experience. Focusing all of his artistic energy solely on DJing, the Berlin-based DJ crafts long, percussive narratives that swing between sweat and sweetness. With an ever expanding record collection, his sets span groove-led house, tribal-leaning techno, and the teasing, flirtatious heartbeat of a good ballroom. His Panorama Bar residency, lasting over a decade, has shaped his sound signature. In Berghain’s most playful room, Perez has refined a way of mixing that feels expansive without losing intimacy. The same spirit follows him to Dekmantel, Glastonbury Festival and other stages worldwide, and he is equally at home in the steamy basements we all love so much. In short: Roi Perez is a key figure wherever long sets, instinct and mischief shape the night. Perez’s own party LAUNDRETTE traces dance music back to its queer roots through time-stretching sets and a deep attunement to the room’s collective resonance. The project also directs funds to marginalised communities and humanitarian initiatives.Recently at Berghain, Neue Nationalgalerie, Coco Boule · often with David Elimelech, Partok, nd_baumecker, none of them here on Saturday

Rooted in the golden lineage of NYC’s queer nightlife, Tom Peters carries forward the legacy of legends. Mentored by Kevin McHugh, the visionary behind Danny Tenaglia, Maxi Records, and Club Vinyl, Tom’s sound is steeped in the hypnotic pulse of tribal house and groovy techno. As a resident DJ for Susanne Bartsch’s ON TOP at The Standard’s legendary LeBain, he spins under the roof of a nightlife icon who gave RuPaul her first stage and founded the iconic Love Ball. Blending the raw energy of Berlin’s underground with the flamboyant glamour of NYC, Tom crafts dancefloors that are both liberating and technically refined. His sets are more than music, they're lineage, legacy, and liberation. Founder of DESSERT...is serving and BERLINCIAGAY, Tom Peters continues to make waves in the electronic music world. Known for fusing diva vocals, Latin percussion, and tribal rhythms into his sets and productions, his sound reflects the influence of McHugh, who managed him for four years and left a lasting mark on his artistic path. With standout performances at Berghain for SNAX, Basement NYC, the Gegen x Pornceptual NYE marathon at RSO Berlin, and a long-running residency with Susanne Bartsch at LeBain, as well as a collaboration with Honey Dijon, Tom has cemented his reputation as a powerhouse in the queer club-focused house and groovy techno world.Tech House on 10, Deep House on 6, Techno on 5 and Progressive House on 5. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on ...is serving (1), Innervisions (1) and Selador Recordings (1); their RA profile also lists Get Physical Music, Kompakt, Kompakt Extra, Kinetika Records and 4 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Georgia Bar, ciao ciao Bar, Berghain · often with Massimiliano Pagliara, Boris, Dee Diggs, none of them here on Saturday

Her name may derive from the Turkish word for ‘different’, but its energy translates into every aspect of BASHKKA’s self-expression. From slaying the dancefloor with sensually acerbic sets to her ardent advocation of the cultural, political and de-colonial advancement of electronic music, BASHKKA is breathing fresh air into the scene with everything she sets her mind to. Irreversibly shaped by a decade living in New York and the Black & Brown trans women who inspired her truest incarnation, BASHKKA brings the flavour and authenticity of The Big Apple’s Ballroom scene to every party she plays. From her hometown residency at Munich’s Blitz Club to Berghain’s Panorama Bar, where she’s quickly become a regular, her sets channel an intoxicating energy that’s self-professedly “CUNT!” And on the other side of the booth, BASHKKA’s unapologetic integrity is echoed in her unwavering activism and commitment to her community. Through her vocal politics and dedication to SWANA and queer representation in the scene, BASHKKA is reimagining the counter-cultural potential of electronic music’s origins for the contemporary club sphere. Her debut EP, forthcoming in 2023, will see BASHKKA’s brazen attitude blended with a highly underrated technical prowess.Their RA profile lists UMAY and Spotlight Records.Recently at Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart, Berghain, Backsteinboot · often with Fadi Mohem, Gabrielle Kwarteng, D.Dan, none of them here on Saturday

Emerging as Phase Fatale in 2014, Berlin-based DJ, producer and label owner, Hayden Payne is rewriting the discourse of Techno with his cross-pollination of gnarly basslines, sensual narratives and mind-control mechanics. Demonstrating his vision through an authentic, highly curated sonic-lens of techno, the New York native’s rhythmic excursions draw on his roots in the underground scenes of his respective cities as well as his reputable experience performing to dancefloors globally. Exemplified by long-standing tenures as a resident for esteemed institutions such as Berlin’s Berghain, KHIDI in Georgia's capital Tbilisi, and queer New York collective Merge, Payne demonstrates a resolute understanding of harnessing club synergy across his productions and DJ sets. With three full length albums under his belt, including the 2020 sophomore release ‘Scanning Backwards’ on Berghain’s imprint Ostgut Ton, Payne’s sonic signature pushes the boundaries of techno sensibilities and reflects the zeitgeist whilst staying true to his own vision. Wasting no time since his solo project’s inception to showcase his expert sonic ability, Payne has toured throughout Europe performing at renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, releasing numerous records on labels including Jealous God, Ostgut Ton, and his own label BITE. Hailing from post-punk roots, Payne draws on his depth of musical knowledge and multitude of influences. His merging of nuanced references and high concept narratives remain geared towards the dancefloor at its core, subtleties of his multifarious sonic palette act as the foundations for his layered wall of sound. Payne launched the BITE imprint in 2018 as a means to platform cutting-edge sound production across a diverse roster of international artists. Along with fellow Soft Crash protagonist Pablo Bozzi pioneering ‘Italo Body Music’, BITE’s seminal synthesis of curated techno solidifies the label as a tour de force taste-maker within electronic music with showcases worldwide including Berghain and their 5 year anniversary compilation ‘Shedding Skin’ in 2023.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Hospital Productions, Jealous God, Falling Ethics and 4 more.Recently at Berghain, KREUZWERK · often with Ne/Re/A, Auspex, nd_baumecker, none of them here on Saturday
