With his particular brand of "musical club music", Mosso has developed a distinctive and immediately recognisable sound palette, balancing electronic and acoustic elements at the intersection of deep house, minimal, tribal, and experimental dance music. His prolific discography includes releases such as GAIA (Hivern Discs) and Isolation Diaries (Third Ear, with remixes by Ricardo Villalobos and Burnt Friedman), alongside music on Sushitech, LYAM, lomidhigh, Satya, My King Is Light and his own mosso imprint. He has also collaborated with Laurence Guy, Thomas Melchior and Lawrence. Mosso's live show is the centrepiece of his artistic career. As a worldwide touring musician, he has performed across North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, at venues and events including MUTEK, Fabric, Amnesia, Womb, Rex, Watergate, Kater, Arma 17, Garbicz, Unsound, and Caprices Festival. Committed to the value of live performance in club culture, he founded OLA (Only Live Acts), a Berlin collective dedicated exclusively to live electronic music, which has been building a growing community around the format. Alongside his club work, he composes and performs ambient and experimental music for listening and art contexts, with releases such as Other Worlds and Sonic Grunewald Fields. [ kɒˈdə woo ] cadeu's production style is a reflection of his diverse influences: from the 90s rave culture to jungle to pop to idm to ambient and electro-acoustic pieces. Besides writing his own music and producing for other acts such as spellsinmyhead, strmo, Veronica Maximova, Mental Kino, he is often commissioned to contribute sound design for short films and commercials. Unconventional sound design techniques and vividly intricate textures is what makes cadeu’s work almost tangible. An alumnus of University of Arts in Berlin, he often pairs his music with academic research. 2017’s album ‘De’ was described by The Village as “Processed voices, reduced dynamics of the dance music in favor of the new found sound, – the result is intriguing post-dance music”. Late 2018’s ‘Un’ employed a format of composition as a narrative and experimentation tool. 2022’s “EX” became cadeu's playground to explore the idea of using language and its raw sonic identity as an artistic tool in the realm of club music. cadeu’s latest single “don't ask again” is a genre-bending return to pop and bass-heavy breaks supported by the magnificent voice of Janaé E..Their RA profile lists Hyperboloid Records, Low End Therapy Records and Safeword Records.Recently at Ikii
