Bliss discovered electronic music few years ago and step by step threw his heart into techno. Now he evolved in a style that mixes from mental and hypnotic sounds to deep and hard grooves. It all started in the late eighties. “My mother worked at a discotheque and after the weekend she often brought mix tapes of the DJ´s with her back home.” Later Azura recorded her first own cassettes, which she is still keeping. At the same time she attended piano lessons – more than ten years Azura at least spent time twice a week in front of her instrument. But some day she was completely bored of it. “Unfortunately I did not recognise at that time how important it can be to master an instrument for my future life.” After she made excursions to other genres like every teenager does, she finally found her way back to her first love in the mid-Nineties. House was once again ubiquitous, but still an underground phenomenon. Azura wounded up in record stores to buy her first own records from her accrued pocket money. And so one came to the other. The first record player was purchased. And soon also the second was acquired. In 2003 she had the heart to show her skills for the first time in public. Ever since she made a name for herself with her distinctive intuition for music even far from her hometown. After her release with Herb LF on Sensual Touch Recordings last summer you should have noticed her at the latest. But there is still a lot more to come! The skilled roofer, Daniel Boon, was born in Berlin, in the former western part of the city in 1979. After the turn he moved into the Berlin scene district of Friedrichshain, what was for him and his development very influential. His first attempts as a DJ he started in 1997. In 1998 he has his first public appearance in the Berlin club "Matrix", where he in the following regularly performed . In winter of 2000 Daniel Boon organized his first event - "Electrosex" in the glass house of the Arena Berlin, which subsequently took place in different locations. In winter of 2003 he and his partner Oliver Tatsch organized the first "OstfunkBerlin" – Party, in the “Maria”. In january 2004 they launched the "Backstage" party series and celebrated the premiere at the legendary club “Tresor”, in the following they organized this event in changing clubs. From autumn 2004 Daniel Boon and Oliver Tatsch launched the "IncognitoBerlin" party line, what was organized in the “Tresor” Berlin until its closure in spring of 2005. Further Daniel Boon is Resident DJ at the “OstfunkBerlin” Parties and he was also resident at the afterhour “BlueHour” in the “Sternradio”. This year Daniel will be published his first record at the Ostfunk Rec. label, which was founded in the beginning of 2005. Was Basstronauten besonders auszeichnet, ist ihre anregende und mitreißende Art. Sie wissen, wie man eine Party in Gang bringt und wie man das Publikum mit ihrer Energie ansteckt. Ihre Auftritte sind keine einfachen DJ-Sets, sondern wahre Erlebnisse, bei denen die Verbindung zum Publikum im Mittelpunkt steht. Das Projekt Basstronauten, das von AMP./Ostfunk unterstützt wird, hat nicht nur in Berlin, sondern auch im Umland und im Ausland immer mehr Fans gewonnen.
