their own biography
the whole biography
Whether guiding a laid-back afternoon or igniting a dancefloor into late-night motion, her sets are carefully tuned to their environment. Drawing from a palette of deep grooves, fun basslines, warm melancholia, emotive electronica, and textured atmospheres, she crafts immersive experiences that are as much about feeling as they are about sound. Each performance is a journey-fluid, unbound by genre, and guided by the energy of the moment. A familiar name at festivals like Shipwrecked, Splore and Rhythm & Alps, Mia has recently brought her distinct musical language to European stages playing at Fusion, Bucht der Traumer, Mystic Creatures, Kater Blau and more. Connecting with new communities along the way. As a founding member of Silk Collective, A vibrant platform championing underground music, art, and community in Aotearoa and beyond. Mia plays an active role in nurturing creative connection in the underground music scene. She is also a crew member and resident DJ at Shipwrecked Festival, where her influence extends well beyond the booth. Whether behind the decks or behind the scenes, for Mia, it’s always about building connections, both through the music and the event spaces she curates and facilitates.Recently at gART.n, Klunkerkranich, Beate Uwe · often with Amerk, AP Solis, Ativ Aras, none of them here that night
