Since then, his career has only gained momentum, as he has also made a name for himself as a DJ — skillfully shaping the energy of the crowd and taking them on a journey infused with catchy synths and percussions. loves_kills (Liubov Sukhodolska) is a Ukrainian DJ and selector, born and raised in Odesa and currently based in Berlin. After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in spring 2022, she rebooted her DJ career in exile, using music as both resistance and release. Known for her eclectic taste and infectious energy, loves_kills blends the grooves of 70s–80s disco, funk, italo, and pop with house classics, 90s gems, and shimmering cuts from the modern nu-disco spectrum. A dedicated digger and pop culture nerd at heart, her sets are playful, soulful, and full of feel-good moments that connect past and present dancefloor traditions. Through the past years, has made numerous appearances at many clubs in the German capital, such as Sisyphos, Paloma, Renate, Aeden, Prince Charles, Schwuz etc. Since summer 2022 runs her own Refuge Worldwide radio residency with a What's Ur Pleasure? show, where she shares not only her own musical discoveries but also invites different DJs. Also became a part of Duma The Collective in late 2023. In 2025, she co-founded HAUSWERKS, a Berlin-based label and event series rooted in the belief that music should be a space for community, not conformity. DJ Westfa is a Black queer DJ and cultural curator whose deep, soulful sets have become a staple in Berlin and Amsterdam’s night life. With roots in Suriname, Westfa channels a spiritual connection to music, weaving house, tribal rhythms, percussion, and deeper journeys into performances that are as emotionally resonant as they are rhythmically compelling. Over a decade ago, Westfa founded Our Society in Amsterdam—a community-driven event series that evolved into a platform for soulful gatherings and cultural exchange. Through Our Society, he has booked legendary artists like Theo Parrish, Moodymann, and Robert Owens, while also spotlighting emerging talent. The project has since expanded into fundraisers, panels and Our Society Radio on Refuge Worldwide, where Westfa hosts intimate conversations with guests about mental health, creativity, and personal growth, all soundtracked by music that has shaped their lives. As a resident DJ at Refuge Worldwide and a frequent performer at venues in Amsterdam and Berlin, Westfa brings a deeply personal energy to the booth. Later living in Bristol she immersed herself in the music culture exploring drum and bass, dubstep and house. It was here she gained a passion for DJing which evolved over the next 10 years. You can see these influences in her music selection, blending jungly, breaks and soulful vocals in her mixes. She is also a wellness professional teaching spin, yoga and meditation.
