Born in Kyiv and now based in Berlin, DRIFT Kyiv brings together music, art and diverse communities to ask: what is the core of Berlin’s club culture today? Against the backdrop of Berlin’s elections and a changing cultural landscape, we look back at the city’s DIY, warehouse and donation-based roots while questioning what remains of that spirit. Through a panel talk, DJ sets, performance, zine presentation and visual art, we gather Ukrainian, African, German, queer and other voices to imagine what Berlin’s cultural core could be.

Beyond the booth, Josiane curates Private Paradise, a monthly radio show on Komrad94, and hosts Sugar Machine on Refuge Worldwide. OLHA is a Ukrainian DJ and performance artist based in Berlin. She is a co-founder & resident of DRIFT Kyiv. Her sound is morphing shades of trance and techno. Diving into the rave mystery, she soundtracks magnetic, raw and profound storytelling. Blending transcendental ripples, sublime melodies and darker psychedelic atmospheres, she inspires liberation. Growing up in Finnish Lapland, his music blends raw power and atmospheric intensity, carrying an inherent queer sensibility before the words were even there. Before finding his way to Berlin, ANTRO discovered himself dancing in Helsinki’s underground electronic scene, and in Berlin DJing opened up a whole new avenue of creative expression. Now blending dark, hypnotic, and groovy techno with captivating vocals and experimental textures, ANTRO crafts soundscapes that move beyond genres, exploring the tension between power and vulnerability. Central to his performance is using music and presence to ignore norms and celebrate authenticity.
