Known for her energetic, genre-spanning sets that surprise and delight crowds, the Berlin-based Techno DJ’s big sound is a playful wide range medley of deep, metallic and trippy to groovy, jacking, percussive sounding Techno with diverse rhythms and UK bass influence. Growing up in Wiesbaden, Germany as a child of Filipino and Sicilian immigrants, Jesse found music to be a lingua franca that connected her with her surroundings. Her early introduction to music was through R&B, Italo Pop, and Rap and her deep curiosity and engagement with music in all its forms still guides her today. Subradeon: the Neapolitan New School Techno producers and DJ's first and foremost, Subradeon find Soul at the heart of their work, be it via their productions on labels like Rekids, Motech and Hardgroove - or in their consistently engaging DJ sets, where the duo's strong bond and years of collaboration make for an enigmatic mix of layered Techno, House, Acapellas and Samples mixed live, often using the classic six-turntable-two-mixer setup synonymous with back to back Techno DJ'ing. Giuseppe Salone and Salvatore Iannotta met in their mid-teens at home in Caserta, a small city just outside of Naples. Quickly bonding as a result of their love for the blooming Napoli Techno scene, the two friends started to DJ together, emulating the 140+ BPM style they were introduced to by Dave Clarke, Gaetano Parisio and Rino Cerrone at venues like Old River Park and Golden Gate. After becoming regulars on the Neapolitan club circuit whilst still in their late teens, they saw the early 00’s techno that they had fallen in love with start to slip away from club culture in their home province. As a result of this, Giuseppe made the move to Berlin in August of 2012 and after falling in love with the city, convinced Salvatore to join him six months later. Fast forward to 2017, after a few years spent honing their sound and Subradeon’s ‘South Connection EP’ found it’s home on Detroit’s Motech label. The EP encompassed four tracks, opening with the sweeping 'Magdala', before the ready stomp of 'Hood'. 'South Connection' takes it deeper with scattered synths, before closer, 'Trouble Woman' delivers a witty vocal cut-up among the Techno beats... This release was duly picked up by the wider techno community, and, gathering momentum, a year later Subradeon launched their eponymous label and dropped SBRDN001 - a 180g Vinyl four-track EP which asks one question: “What would you do if you woke up one day, deprived of your emotional memory?” to which the duo responds: “There is a technological revolution with the impact of automation and cybernation. And that is a human rights revolution, all over the world.” [Track ID: Cybernation] This EP captured the attention of Radio Slave, leading to the birth of ‘Walking Through Motown’ dropping just a few months later on his own label Rekids. The record was a true bomb, designed to draw you into Subradeon’s take on Motor-City-Soul and take you on a journey through the 313, in homage to the Detroit pioneers of the Techno sound. Moving into 2019, alongside picking up a regular slot in the booth at Tresor, Subradeon dropped ‘Movement EP’ on Deetron’s label, Character. The EP was a vocal response to their heroes in the wider Techno community, a moment of gratitude centring on the premise that ‘Each One, Teach One’, honouring the sonic masters who had come before them. Subradeon then delivered their second EP of 2019 on Subradeon Records, ‘Sounds of Our Mothers’ Mothers’. The title track is a pounding, soulful ballad carried by a voice of freedom - a message of thanks to those women who have shaped the destiny of humanity. With a dramaturgical approach to DJ sets, Carl Bergé specializes in cross-genre selections built with exponential intensity, earning a residency at HÖR Berlin in 2025 and regular slots alongside artists such as Sally C, Marie Montexier, Sam Alfred, Kikelomo, Gabrielle Kwarteng, DJ Heartstring and Lovefoxy. While House music remains at the core of his sound, Carl’s productions blend his passion for deep, pacy and unconventional music - garnering support and recognition from icons such as Skin On Skin, DJ BORING and Job Jobse. Although he grew up in West-Germany, Carl’s passion for electronic music ignited in ever-sunny Australia, where he spent 12-hour farmwork shifts listening to early releases of Mall Grab and Ross From Friends on repeat. Further down the road, institutions like SASH, Revolver Upstairs and Naarm’s celebrated Breakfast Club shaped his taste and understanding of electronic music. As a youngster M.ono was inspired by the House, Drum & Bass and Hip Hop sounds of the late 90s and early 2000s. His deep love and appreciation for music across all genres and eras are an inspiration for his productions which can be seen as sunny, emotional house tracks often with big piano chords and funky swinging basslines. Easydance – M.ono’s first Artist EP on Rose Records – was very well-received and supported by DJs like Move-D, Moomin, Wolf Music and DJ Koze. The most successful track on this EP ‘Holding Back California’ was exclusively licensed for Move D ́s Fabric Mix CD. In collaboration with his label partner Luvless he produced tracks for labels like Kolour Recordings, Dirt Crew Recordings, Ors, Ourselves, Traxx Underground, Tsuba and Rose Records under the synonym of ‘M.ono & Luvless’. A Frankfurt native Andreas Baumecker aka nd_baumecker began his DJ career in 1991 in a bar called Romantica, located near the city’s main train station. The venue was run by legendary nightlife impresario Hans Romanov, who also operated Intimbar, where Baumecker would eventually move on to a short time later. It’s there that Ata and Heiko M/S/O from Playhouse took notice, inviting Baumecker to work as a buyer for their record store Delirium and offering him a residency at their seminal WildPitchClub night at the Club Nachtleben. Soon, Baumecker was regularly playing Frankfurt’s numerous electronic music venues (Box, XS, Music Hall, Dorian Grey), before moving on to Heidelberg, where he promoted the club night HD800 together with Dirk Mantei aka D-Man. After a short stop in Mannheim, regular guest DJ sets at Berghain / Panorama Bar predecessor club OstGut in Berlin, and establishing his own label Freundinnen Audio, nd_baumecker moved to the German capital in 2004. There he not only picked up a residency at Panorama Bar inside the newly opened Berghain but also started a job as the club’s in-house booker. Stylistically, Baumecker covers a truly broad spectrum of dance music, refusing to be limited by genre: "A well known choreographer once said: 'Surprise is important.’ I think this approach describes my DJ style best. I’m constantly oscillating between disco, house, techno, electro, broken beats and pop. Ultimately, I’m open to anything – from brute force to tender. I see the dance floor an experimental field: If you manage to really capture the crowd, you can do almost anything with them." “Dance, dance otherwise we are lost” the larger than life modern dance choreographer and ballet director Pina Bausch once said. The Cologne based DJ and producer Esther Silex deeply believes in those words of wisdom and took the statement as one of many inspirations behind her debut EP “Pachamama” for Sweden’s finest free spirited electronic music label Studio Barnhus. The EP title refers to the old mother earth goddess of the indigenous people of the Andes, who is an independent deity that has her own creative power to sustain life on planet earth. For Silex she is a divineness that follows her on each and every step as a female with groove in her heart. After a nomadic upbringing all around Europe she started to play records at the tender age of 17 and quickly became an integral part of Cologne’s house and techno scene. Her sets are anything but predictable, with an eclectic selection that somehow weaves seamlessly through techno and house to soul, funk, afro and disco.
