Es ist wieder Blackout Nacht im Gretchen und wir haben ein großartiges Line Up für euch.
Black Sun Empire zählen seit Jahren zu den prominentesten Vertretern des Neurofunk. Ihre Musik lebt von wuchtigen Basslines, präzisen Drums und einer angenehm dunklen, oft filmischen Atmosphäre. Mit Blackout Music und der dazugehörenden Clubnacht haben sie eine Plattform geschaffen, auf der sich neben ihnen selbst auch viele andere Künstler*innen entfalten können. Das Trio aus Utrecht legt seit jeher großen Wert auf Kollaborationen und den Austausch innerhalb der Szene. Ein Beispiel dafür ist das Konzeptalbum „Endangered Species“ (2007), für das sie zahlreiche internationale Produzenten zusammenbrachten und neue digitale Möglichkeiten für Vernetzung, Produktion und Distribution nutzten. Auf dem Remix-Album „Variations On Black“ von 2013 wirkten zahlreiche namhafte Neurofunk-Produzenten mit. Auch auf „The Wrong Room“ finden sich zahlreiche Kollaborationen, unter anderem mit Noisia, Pythius, State Of Mind, Virus Syndicate, Audio, Dope D.O.D. und Neonlight. An dieser Stelle holen wir kurz Luft, denn mit Black Sun Empire geht es einfach immer weiter und ihre Blackout-Partys sind bekanntlich legendär.
Merikan, alias Guiliano Gronholz, gehört zu den Produzent*innen, die den härteren und dunkleren Rand des Neurofunk seit Jahren mitprägen. Der in Neapel lebende DJ und Produzent steht für einen druckvollen, aggressiven Sound zwischen Neurofunk, Metal-Einflüssen und elektronischer Experimentierfreude. Nach Veröffentlichungen auf Labels wie Close 2 Death, PRSPCT, Blackout und Eatbrain erschien im Juni 2026 mit „Nightreign“ sein erstes Album auf Blackout Music. Seine Sets sind intensiv, detailreich und führen durch die verschiedenen Facetten des Neurofunk bis hin zu beinahe opernhaften Elementen. Dabei bleibt trotz aller Härte immer Raum für Melodie, Rhythmus und Flow.
SIREN, Produzentin und DJ aus Großbritannien, konzentriert sich auf die härteren Seiten des Drum’n’Bass. In ihren Sets bewegt sie sich zwischen Neurofunk, Dancefloor und Dubstep und setzt auf druckvolle, energiegeladene Mixes. 2025 gab sie mit „Reset The System“ und „Fully Loaded“ ihr Debüt bei Blackout Music. Der wuchtige Two-Track-Release zielt mit harten Drums und rauen Basslines ohne Umwege direkt auf den Dancefloor. In diesem Jahr war sie mit „Self Destruct“ auf der „CODE“-EP von VTO Records vertreten. Der Track geht ebenfalls voll nach vorne und unterstreicht ihren kompromisslosen, auf den Dancefloor ausgerichteten Neurofunk-Sound.
Die Berliner Community ist natürlich auch vertreten: Soniq bringt dunklen, energetischen Drum’n’Bass mit Einflüssen aus Neurofunk, Breakbeats und UK Bass. N’Dee steht für tief rollenden Sound mit feinem Gespür für Flow und die richtige Selection. Gehostet wird die Nacht von MC Jamie White und Rollin MC, die mit markanten Vocals und genreübergreifendem Background für zusätzliche Energie sorgen.
In Box2 kümmert sich die Crew von Impulse Basskultur um noch mehr Bass, schaut da unbedingt vorbei, Abriss ist garantiert.

Merikan stands as one Europe's most fiercely in-demand djs, known for his high-energy style and relentless ability to grasp the dance by its spine and act as a brutally effective sonic chiropractor who knows how to knock a rave into shape. He made his name as a dj very early on, with his undeniable ability behind the decks impressing promoters and ravers in almost every country in the continent—and his production ability has left an equally, if not more, striking mark on the landscape or twisted and heavy dnb. He burst onto the scene with heavy-hitting records on Close2Death and Disturbed before being picked up by veteran labels Cause4Concern Recordings and PRSPCT Recordings with a further pair of EPs, both of which left a striking impression and immediately catapulted him to the forefront for all lovers of neuro and metal-inspired electronica. Moving on to release a fierce single on MethLab Recordings, and his stunning collaboration with IHR in the form of DEAD END saw his refined aggressive sound elevate to new heights of powerful experimentation, while a consistent flow of releases on Blackout garnered yet greater accolades and attention from the heads. Jamie is a Mc legend coming from the capitol city of germany , Berlin. He was the first generation of Junglists in this country, doing it since the early 90's, when he started to write lyrics he was only 15. On the mic for almost any big name in the Jungle/D&B scene (name one ..) he was booked all over europe, asia and the usa. In 2000 he was booked as the first Jungle/D&B artist to the UK. He performed in London, Bristol and Oxford and this wasn't the last time he stood on stage in the motherland of the genre. Up to now he's still one of the most mentioned Mc's and it seems like he's not willing to quit yet!
