Originally from Poland she now occupies a unique space in the Berlin music scene and is actively involved with many projects and collectives including female:pressure, ECLAT Crew, Music Ashram and Mahalla, e0n, Currents and Soulfam, her current incarnation was nudged together by all these experiences and connections. Connections are particularly important to Joa, the acceptance and embracing of the human experience inside nature guide every song. She is a daydreamer, a wandering creature, looking for answers in the forest, in the rivers, in the wilderness and inbetween the lines of her emotions. In order to express, transcend and understand the complexities of this modern life she constantly expands and tinkers with her toolbox of techniques and approaches. What this manifests as is something that breathes air into the space around it, Joa moves with an electric sensuality, her body becoming as much a part of the performance as the music, one suspects even in the studio that this is the case and it carries into everything she does. Zuzana Hamm has been working in the electronic music industry since 2008. In her music, she draws inspiration from genres spanning post-punk and dark wave, dubstep and dub techno, leftfield pop and experimental electronic music and combines synthesizers and machines with harp, bass, vocals and abstract lyricism. As a DJ, she fuses left-field dark bass music, intricate polyrhythms and heavy-weight sonic minimalism with both slow-paced and 160 BPM breaks, with respect to the roots of the DJ and sound system culture. In 2024, she launched a new electrorganic platform called bitumen lichen where she explores her long-time interest in the intersections and relationships between the natural and the industrial.Recently at Void Club, Schwarze Heidi, Lauschangriff · often with Babe Gorgeous, Dub Isotope, Soho, none of them here that night
