Blosvenn (former Finnya) loves to play colorful yet deep, energetic yet airy, with subtle blue-tinted atmospheres throughout. Rooted between classic hypnotic techno and groove-driven rhythms, the sound remains melodic, elegant, and constantly evolving. For her, the overall concept of a set is essential. She aima to take the listener on a journey, carefully shaping the energy from start to finish. Influenced by the Berlin underground, the selection moves fluidly between multilayered, textured tracks and clean, stripped-back moments where a single track is allowed to breathe. Rather than relying on heavy effects or overmixing, she focusses on interesting, well-crafted tracks and a minimalist mixing approach that lets the music live on its own. Starting out with DJing, the first synth – a Korg Minilogue – in 2019 marked the shift towards a fully hardware-based setup. Since then, raw and energetic sounds have been created through semi-modular setups and analog machines.
