The basic harmony of the heart is energy. If you look around for creative minds in the German techno scene, you will quickly come across the name Lydia Eisenblätter. With her energetic, analogue, straight sound, she had a striking reflection of her personality pressed on vinyl, founded her own label and released exciting records.With her label OAM she showed courage and the right feeling for good sound, which is reflected in her worldwide collaborations. During her gigs, Lydia exudes an authentic mixture of honest, heartfelt basic harmony and dynamic, uneven, rough edges of her personality, which make their way onto the dance floor in the form of driving tracks. In her own releases you will find very personal elements of her soul, which, like the fragments of a disco ball, she knows how to combine into a beaming something. Her unique style has been able to develop over many years and numerous well-known personalities from the techno scene have been her companions and sponsors. After her studio in Leipzig has become her second home, it is not surprising that she will release new records in 2022. The London-born, Berlin-based artist masterfully straddles a heady mix of house, techno and disco that has seen him become a regular at legendary spots like Panorama Bar/Berghain and Concrete while his output sits in the boxes of DJs like Ryan Elliott, The Black Madonna, DVS1 and Gerd Janson. With a record store background, it’s unsurprising that Parker’s instinct to dig is paired with an unapologetically high standard when it comes to track selection. As a result, he’s a DJ who draws on undiscovered classics as much as he does unreleased material during a typical set. This perfectionist stance spills into his production work too - taut, energetic and often relentless productions released through a select group of outlets including his own Work Them Records and Radio Slave’s Rekids, an imprint he very much considers a home away from home. With a constant desire to keep things fresh, Parker is no stranger to side projects though. Many Spencer Parker edits have graced record store shelves and DJ’s boxes while 2011 saw the initially uncredited itsnotover 12” series launch, becoming a bonafide cult classic before culminating in a CD album release (and critical acclaim) in 2014. 2018 sees Spencer Parker in rare form. His DJ diary continues to grow with the USA, South America and the antipodes adding to an ever evolving and enviable EU rotation. Work Them continues to grow, with Parker fostering new talent like P.Leone and Valya Kan as well as inviting established acts like Rising Sun, DJ Deep, Italojohnson and DJ Fettburger to contribute remixes to his own Different Shapes & Sizes series of 12s. He started very early as a party promoter which he's still doing today with Freebase-Tours in Europe and many other events at Robert Johnson or his "See Us There“ Festival in Offenbach. Meat's career as a producer began, like Einzelkind and Reboot, on the well known labels like Get Physical, Klang, Kindisch, murmur & La Peña. In 2009 Meat & Chris Wood started their collaboration - they are now best friends, studio partners and rave brothers! Together they have released on labels like Desolat, Moon Harbour, Pressure Traxx, Upon You and Tiefschwarz’s Souvenir Label 2017 Chris Wood and Meat moved to the studio of Christian Burkhardt. This new partnership has resulted in the first release for the trio on Jamie Jones's label "Hot Trax" called "Closer 2 U". Chris Wood & Meat still continue to be a well known DJ team playing in clubs around the world along side the big players in the DJ business.
