Ahni is a gender-queer producer & DJ from occupied Ngunnawal & Ngambri land. They first experimented with sound amongst the tree-ferns & mushrooms of lush alpine forests near their hometown. Growing up amidst Sicilian sound systems and the Italian noise/free party scene, and starting to spin her records during hip-hop open mics in Rome, her sound traces a path between light and shadow, where each style intersects with irregular flows to create a harmonious yet asymmetrical narrative rooted in noise and playing on a different terrain Fukstep, her creature, is a project and label drawing its roots from mutoid and crossover sounds, which arise from the hybridisation of sound system culture. She released “Distortion Detectives”, the first EP made with Broken Audio, on Fukstep and “Quello che non saremo mai” REMIX for PIOVE. on Woodworm / Universal Music Italy. She has brought her sound in reality as Berghain, OHM (Berlin), Le Sucre (Lyon), Le Sample (Paris) Link (Bologna), CTM, Unsound afterparty (KRK), Robot Festival during Elena Colombi’s Osàre Showcase (Bologna) Romaeuropa, Spring Attitude (Rome), Mickey Zoggs (Bristol). She has played B2B with Piezo, DJ Paypal and involved in Small But Hard, SFX, Osàre Edition Showcases. She also performs “Innesta”, her Mediterranean radical sound research and experimentation, in “Palace of Popular Arts and Traditions” of the Roman Museum Of Civilization and in a 1582 Sant'Apollonia basilica, in Rome. Midori, fka Marie Midori, is a Swedish-Japanese artist born and based in Berlin. A beloved part of the city's nightlife family, they've been club-socialized at Griessmuehle (R.I.P), a long-time mentor and core organiser of the legendary Femme Bass Mafia, and to this day the figure behind Crack Bellmer's queer- and community oriented programming. From producing radio mixtapes in their childhood bedroom at the age of six, to busking in odd corners of the globe as a teenage scout leader, to dropping out of university to become a DJ in their early twenties— music has always been the strongest creative constant amid their ever-shifting interests. Influenced by their multicultural background, the natural world, and the whimsical tales of Japanese anime, they enjoy digging between genres in search of pieces that defy easy categorization. Supergross is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and the founder of the Cheek collective and record label. Cheek launched in 2023 with the release of their first VA: OUT THA POND 001. To date, Supergross has appeared on club and festival lineups in Ireland and Germany, including Berlin, Galway, Dublin, Limerick, Laois and Cork, while supporting artists such as FJAAK, EJECA, Jan Vercauteren, SHXCXCHCXSH, THELMA and Hannah Laing.
