Hailing from Malaysia, previously based in Melbourne (Naarm) & now living in Berlin, Different Shades is well known for her dynamic and careful mixes; weaving through genre-bending selections while fronting a dynamic palette of futuristic high-tech sounds, psychedelic rhythms and deep atmospherics. Different Shades is one of the minds behind AV / event collective LOADING_ERROR, directing conceptual & immersive parties integral to Australia’s flourishing scene. teiaaa is a producer, live artist and DJ from Zurich, now at home in Berlin, shaped by UK bass, experimental club music, and beyond. She searches for the odd, the quirky, and the challenging. Her bass-forward, hyper-rhythmic, playful DJing locks bodies into motion, while gliding from immediate grooves through deep cuts into music’s outer fringes and back. As a producer, she is often inspired by sounds from her surroundings — skewing and recasting them into new homes for the outcast and the unexpected — evoking mystic energies that keep things just a little off-kilter yet all-embracing.
