Part of this years Tag der Clubkultur
The project reflects our long-standing commitment to community and our belief that the future of club culture depends upon fostering meaningful exchange across generations.
As Berlin's cultural landscape evolves, we see increasing value in creating spaces where children, parents, and artists can participate together, extending the social and creative values of club culture beyond the traditional nightlife setting.
For one day, Sameheads will transform into a family-oriented cultural space featuring music, workshops, and participatory activities inspired by the creative ecology of the club. The programme will include music-making sessions, art workshops, clothing upcycling, interactive installations, a child-friendly dance floor, and a vintage children's flea market.
Resident DJs and musicians will lead hands-on sessions introducing children to synthesizers, DJ equipment, microphones, and sound experimentation in an open and playful environment.
Throughout the day, the dance floor will remain active at carefully moderated sound levels, allowing children and parents to experience music collectively. In collaboration with the child-focused initiative Club Kidz, the programme will also feature upcycling workshops and a curated flea market promoting creativity and sustainable practices.
Over the past two decades, thousands of artists, producers, and DJs have come to Berlin drawn by its nightlife and creative freedom. Many have since established lasting roots, started families, and are now helping to shape the city's next cultural chapter.
Club Kidz at Sameheads recognises this generational shift, creating opportunities to pass on the values that have long defined our community: curiosity, openness, mutual respect, and solidarity.

“Novo Line dives into the esoteric and visceral via a living MIDI network, utilizing obsolete gear’s propensity for overloads, errors, and asynchrony to create grooves and harmonies that follow a tesseract rather than a straight line.”

Novo Line dives into the esoteric and visceral via a living MIDI network, utilizing obsolete gear’s propensity for overloads, errors, and asynchrony to create grooves and harmonies that follow a tesseract rather than a straight line. Non deterministic and deterministic meet in an intuitive living present of tone and rhythm. With a unique approach to using and abusing the first generation of digital production tools, a physical and musical whole is created through intuition, active mindful listening, and ideas born from the study of old user manuals, holistic (anti)somatic sects, and modern music concepts such as indeterminacy, minimal, and automatic. The artist behind Novo Line, Nat Fowler, was born in Shiraz, Iran and called Baltimore home where he contributed to the DIY scene of the 1990s and 2000s via bands and performance, a video collective, and the situationist Baltimore Rowdy Crew and his band Oxes (1998-2011) Novo Line is the host of the radio show Auto-Accompaniment on Keithfem, wherein automation and accompaniment in music production is explored; the *ethical boundary pushing* “Best of Intergalactic FM,” and 45@33 veteran of drawn out keta/syrup dj sets at whiskey bars and after parties. all photos Agata Guevara @agatagvrTheir RA profile lists Ecstatic, Diagonal and Protofuture.“A genre-fluid DJ and producer merging vinyl digging, underground heritage and contemporary production into immersive, era-defying dancefloor experiences”

the whole biography
Berlin based artists with Polish roots, Leona Jacewska (formerly known as Charlie) is a prodigy of contemporary synthwave, influenced by EBM, electro and early 80's italo. Her live acts key on hardware - including Cirklon Sequencer, Pearl Syncussion and OB6 - but they also make expert use of coldwave-reminiscent vocals. Her solo output was shaped by the exposure to diverse strands of music, facilitated by her formal piano education, deep engagement with the electronic music scene in Central Europe, long-standing DJ career and the organisation of SZUM parties in Kraków (PL) and Berlin (DE). With her extensive experience as a musician and curator, she has participated in multiple programs oriented at peer- to-peer exchange, mentorship and advocacy, including the Music Moves Europe- funded initiative Venues from the Future, Sonar+D, and Initiative Musik. She has issued two EPs, Cold Inside (Ferry Lane Records 2022) and Spacewoman (Wrong Era 2024) being remixed by David Vunk and italo legend Flemming Dalum. She presented her live acts at renowned festivals such as Unsound (PL), Transmusicales (FR), Fusion (DE) and Noche de Primavera (MX), Tauron (PL) and clubs like Berghain (DE), Tresor (DE) or Closer (UA). Mixmag Worldwide: "...setting an innovative tone and channeling a unique approach to synthesis and powerful percussion." Quietus Magazine Unsound Review: "Maximum dynamic that impacts the mind" KEYI Magazine: "Leona's record is a testament to her unique and impactful sound design, which is on full display in her thunderous progressions" DJ MAG: "... sees Leona continuing to refine her sultry, sci-fi-esque take on electro house, delivering warehouse-ready kicks alongside bold percussion and colourfully warped synth work" ELECTRICITY CLUB.CO.UK "This retro-futuristic EP showcases LEONA as a talented electronic producer of worth, with an ability to bring workable changes within her exhilarating melodies and patterns while retaining the necessary repetitious elements essential to good club friendly music."
