Cristian Varela is one of the most respected and influential figures in global techno. With a career spanning more than three decades, the Spanish DJ, producer, and label owner has built an international reputation through his powerful performances, technical mastery, and unwavering dedication to electronic music culture. From legendary underground clubs to major festivals, Varela continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his unmistakable sound and relentless energy behind the decks. Beyond touring internationally, he also shares his passion for the craft through workshops, mentorship programs, and his long-running radio show on Bloop London Radio, syndicated across more than 50 countries. Founder of Black Codes Experiments and Manita Recordings, Cristian Varela has released music on influential labels including Toolroom Trax, Primate, Intec, Materia, and OAKS, with many productions also appearing on vinyl.
