For this edition of Angel Audio's musicboard funded educational event, we're combining a practical soundsystem workshop with a party celebrating regional club music from the US underground.
From Chicago's ghetto house and footwork to Detroit electro and ghettotech, Miami bass and Baltimore and Jersey club, the night brings together sounds that emerged from distinct local scenes and went on to influence club music around the world.
Our lineup brings together artists from Chicago, Munich and Berlin for a night of heavy bass, fast percussion and dancefloor-focused selections all powered by the Angel Audio Soundsystem.
WORKSHOP: SOUNDSYSTEMS IN THE WILD
What does it actually take to run a soundsystem outside the perfect club setup?
Before the party, anna andersrum hosts a conversation with experienced soundsystem operators about running events in clubs, festivals, warehouses, fields and DIY spaces.
We'll talk about finding suitable locations, transporting and setting up equipment, dealing with electricity and noise restrictions, and handling unexpected problems on the day.
Rather than formal technical instruction, the workshop focuses on firsthand experiences, mistakes, practical advice and lessons learned. Whether you're already involved in a soundsystem crew or interested in organizing your first event, come along, ask questions and exchange experiences.

Rooted in a classical music upbringing and a lifelong love for hip hop, she’s always been drawn to sound in all its forms-refusing to be boxed in by genre. Her sets blend shake-your-ass energy with intention: weaving together diasporic rhythms, hip hop textures, and diverse electronic music influences to create space for joy, resistance, and connection on the dancefloor. A true lover of breakbeats, Anna's electronic sound takes inspiration from her roots in gritty East Coast hip hop, as well as in vibrant and rhythmic Puerto Rican genres. Her longstanding connection to hip hop naturally evolved into a love for breakbeats and electro, while exposure to UK genres further broadened her musical perspective. She soon became involved in Berlin’s bass and jungle communities. While her sound carries a distinct UK influence, Anna's sets are global, often featuring productions from Iran, Japan, Egypt, Australia and beyond. Each performance is a dynamic fusion of styles, rhythms, and tempos, layered with acid and lethal bass. Anna is now part of a FLINTA soundsystem crew that has built a deep bass-focused system aimed at expanding and diversifying the Berlin rave landscape through bass-driven and break-oriented sounds.
