His inimitable brand of music is unlike anything else. Powerful, mysterious, but also melodic and densely arranged, these tracks have an immediate mesmerizing effect on audiences. Never one to chase trends, he continues to blaze his own path, exploring the depths of Drum & Bass and Tech House and constantly reinventing his sound. Exploid has been expressing himself musically since he was a child. Born as son from a jazz musician, he started at the age of 12 with drum lessons. A few years later, he mastered the art of Bass, Guitar, Piano and other instruments. This passion for playing and creating music has never changed and has since enabled him to smash venues as musician, producer and DJ. As much inspired by the sounds of rave, winding, wobbling and low basses, Exploid is already known for his signature dance floor smashing style, bright melodies, smooth but also heavy basslines. Despite this, he’s experimenting with every kind of sounds, genres and sub-genres. He’s pushing the boundaries, unites music and doing something different. Since the beginning of the nineties, DJ Upzet is a fan of electronic music. At first he was attracted to Acid and Minimal Techno. 1997, at the age of 16, he discovered his all-consuming passion for drum & bass music and in 1998 he started mixing it. 1999, at the age of 18, he discovered his all-consuming passion for drum & bass music. Since this time, Upzet has been constantly motivated to perfect his mixing skills and he attaches great importance to diversity in all of his sets. Today, Liquid Funk, Deep, Dark, Tech and Neurofunk are his usual styles, but mixing Oldskool Jungle and Happybreakbeat also gives him a sense of delight. In 2001, after experiences with various artists, he started organizing drum & bass events. In 2009, Upzet moved to Berlin, where he's still djing and where he promotes some clubdates like "Out of Mind", "Step higher", "Infected", "Lucid Dreaming" and other special events . In 2010 he founded the Berlin based Out of Mind Crew: Upzet, DJane Cyrilla, Nursa, Hardy, Stone and SolHo. 2013 is when Upzet finally stepped into the world of making producing beats, he is currently working on his first set of tracks so watch this space! Kainam found his passion for raving in Berlin, where he is now based. His adventures in the underground techno scene eventually lead to him to play at events and organize them both in and outside of Berlin. His mixes continually evolve, creating crazy trips for fellow raving lunatics. Besides DJing, Kainam also organises techno events in the Berlin area. His most proud achievement is cooperatively pioneering with Mediterranea Berlin “Let the Ships Fly”, a Soliparty series to raise funds and awareness for their humanitarian missions.
