Who they are
“Hailing from the deep swamplands of Southeast Finland, it’s no surprise Annina’s exposure to electronic music was found while traveling elsewhere - in fact, it was becoming involved in the Sydney scene which spawned her love for dance music, and ultimately inspired her move to Berlin in 2018.”

Hailing from the deep swamplands of Southeast Finland, it’s no surprise Annina’s exposure to electronic music was found while traveling elsewhere - in fact, it was becoming involved in the Sydney scene which spawned her love for dance music, and ultimately inspired her move to Berlin in 2018. It was there she became focused on her groovy but upfront sound and met like-minded music heads eventually co-founding the minimal collective Zapped Berlin in 2021. Aside from DJing around Europe for respected venues such as Hoppetosse in Berlin and Culture Box in Denmark her work as a producer has been well-received and she is now focused in the studio on pushing her sound to the next level amongst a few other yet-to-be-revealed projects.Their RA profile lists Zapped Records.Recently at Kater, AMT, Club der Visionaere · often with Scoopsi, Jonaku (DE), Ujin, none of them here that night

Your House-Music Extravaganza. Your Disco Queer. When Laura steps up to the decks, she dares you not to dance! Brazilian based in Berlin, Laura has been playing her trademark brand of house-classics, raw and energetic sets she has become synonymous with. In her carefully curated vinyl-collection and in her ability to fuse rock and disco to a bassline-driven house and techno, her sound is unmistakable, her dance-floor is always sensual, fierce and fun! A thoughtful multidisciplinary artist, with a constant need to create, Laura has recently self produced and shot a series of music-videos. Love letters to both her birthplace and her adopted city, they eloquently showcase her ability to tell a story, never missing an opportunity to uplift and spotlight the work of other artists and collaborators alike, all the while accompanied by her signature nostalgia.Recently at Raumerweiterungshalle, Kater, Golden Gate · often with robrobpop, Dabbs Traxx, tracey, none of them here that night
“Classifying the unusual character of Daniel Gardner is a challenge.”

the whole biography
Classifying the unusual character of Daniel Gardner is a challenge. His school-teachers all tried and failed, finally attributing his unconventionality to a learning disability and decidedly closing the case on him completely. Born and raised on a farm in the suburbs of Vancouver, Grades were always mediocre at best for young Daniel, until one semester a mysterious new course emerged into the curriculum; Electronic Music Composition. Suddenly discovered, were honor roll grades, and a means to merge an imaginative young mind with over a decade of fiercely enforced classical piano training. In 1996, captivated by the unified dance floors and Detroit sounds, the 16-year-old embarked on a life-long love-affair with the loop and took his first DJ residency at a Vancouver afterhours. After two successfully directionless years studying electronics and design, and after dabbling with some independent releases, Daniel decided to put his pride aside and demo his accomplishments. A CD of incomplete works were sent out as an experiment to 5 of the most esthetically innovative labels in Germany, and received back were 3 requests to release it. The encouragement and new-found confidence led to the birth of the project FRIVOLOUS. Now with more than 40 releases and over a dozen 12"s to his name, Frivolous has toured the globe playing an eclectic array of venues and festivals along the way. His live shows have been hailed for their energy, originality and ingenuity as he's taken the stage next to some of the most respected names in the business. Never compromising the art of showman-ship, these spectacles feature live keyboards and vocals as well as the incorporation of his DIY aesthetic. Integrating homemade devices such as the "Frivolous Patented Electromagnetic knife", the "Broken-Ruler Music Box" and the Double "Cable-Tub" Bass, his sets are injected with a sense of fantasy, imagination and personality scarcely found elsewhere in modern electronic dance music.Their RA profile lists Cadenza Records, ~scape, Fenou, Karloff and 6 more.Recently at Jonny Knüppel, Golden Gate · often with Pia Kauitl, Flandez, Alessia Ceruti, none of them here that night
