This Samhain, ABYSS and Overflow host a Sunday evening soundsystem gathering across two floors, exploring sub bass pressure, physical resonance, and somatic rest.
Floor 1: ABYSS delivers sub-bass pressure and altered states through a custom @restless.audio setup tailored to the space.
Floor 2: Overflow offers vibroacoustic platforms, live ambient sound, low-stimulus lighting, and room to land.
Throughout the night, @groundtactics provides 1-on-1 Light Body Activations with tuning forks, touch, and somatic co-regulation.
RESONANCE Study
We’re partnering with Dr. Andrei Ion (University of Bucharest), Aoife McGuinness (Overflow), and Dr. Corinna Kühnapfel (TU Berlin) on a longitudinal study tracking how sub-bass and immersive sound affect mood, body awareness, and recovery in the days following. Participants receive a personalised post-event reflection based on their input.

Conscious of the history of the music she loves yet always looking to push things forward, she’s no newcomer and her involvement with drum and bass runs much deeper than just a hobby. Having worked for record distributers SRD as well as promoting her own regular club night, Rupture, she’s learnt from the ground up and built a solid foundation on which she continues to grow. The success of Rupture stands testament to Mantra’s hard work and commitment, and that of her partner Double O. Borne of a desire to take it back to basics, Rupture has gone from strength to strength with original lineups that combine the best new DJs alongside some of the underground’s leading lights. The night has built up over the past 8 years to form what is now recognized as London’s best underground dnb night. Ravers as far as the US and various parts of Europe have all made the pilgramage to Rupture at Corsica Studios. With previous guests including D-Bridge, Amit, Doc Scott, Icicle and Bailey, Rupture demonstrates the philosophy of it’s founders: to bring quality music straight from the soul. A dedicated and professional outlook has won Mantra the support of some of d & b’s most respected DJs, including Equinox, Loxy and Storm. Having established links with some exciting new producers, Mantra keeps her selection fresh with dubplate material from the likes of dBridge, Overlook, Pessimist, Gremlinz, Theory and Loxy plus others. A certified vinyl junkie, she’s also been known to draw deep from the crates and drop tracks that other DJs no longer dare to play Her productions have won her support from dBridge, Loxy, Storm and Flight amongst others. With collaborations underway with Gremlinz, Drum Cypha and her partner, Double O, Mantra’s productions are set to keep moving forward in 2018. Alicia is a DJ, producer and co-founder of London-based club night Terra Obscura. Her unique combination of disparate styles is in no doubt owed to her background as a trained classical musician, as well as several years spent working behind the counter of the renowned Phonica Records. Her explorative and considered approach has seen her become a fixture on the London club scene, having played at the likes of Fabric, Phonox and Corsica Studios. Radio-wise, she has recently become a monthly resident on Rinse FM, as well as a regular on Kindred, a station that is fast becoming a creative hub for the city's underground scene. Beyond DJing, Alicia co-curates Terra Obscura, an experimental club night that looks to bridge the gap between ambient and dance music. Each event begins as a multi-sensory sound bath, allowing the crowd to become comfortable within the space, before the night gradually adjusts its aim toward the dancefloor. As a producer, Alicia’s music has seen release on the likes of Fever AM, the Berlin-based imprint run by Mor Elian and Rhyw. Pleasure and repetition, declension of the word percussion, Marylou carves raw oneirism. Raised between forests and ocean in the south west coast of France, her first languages are painting and cinema before she got involved in different ways (writing, drawing, promoting) in the parisian birthing scene in the 2010's. Her daring and psychedelic sets are always an experimentation of her true style : From Traditional music, improv jazz and Noise to dub, bass, footwork and jungle, there are always special instants in Marylou’s mixes which have already gotten the likes of edgy festivals & platforms like Terraforma, Freerotation, Intonal, CTM, Meakusma, or in clubs from Berghain to cafe Oto.. Later living in Bristol she immersed herself in the music culture exploring drum and bass, dubstep and house. It was here she gained a passion for DJing which evolved over the next 10 years. You can see these influences in her music selection, blending jungly, breaks and soulful vocals in her mixes. She is also a wellness professional teaching spin, yoga and meditation.
