Live-Act since 1990
- DJ since 1992
 - lives & works in Berlin/ Germany In 1990 Mijk van Dijk was one of the first artists to emerge from the early Berlin Techno scene.
In 1992 Mijk mixed Techno beats with emotive sounds and together with Cosmic Baby coined the term „Trance“ with the compilation Tranceformed From Beyond, the first of it’s kind.
In 1993 together with Marcos Lopez he wrote the Marmion classic Schöneberg.
Throughout the 90s and 00s Mijk has been working with artists as diverse as DJ Hell, Claude Young, Takkyu Ishino, Thomas Schuhmacher, DJ Rok, Toby Izui, Tanith, Namito, Rob Acid, Tom Wax, Martin Eyerer and remixed Moby, Denki Groove, GTO, Frankie Bones, Humate and Emmanuel Top, to name but a few. Mijk has been touring worldwide and developed an especially strong bond with his fans in Japan, where he released on big and small labels like Sony Music or Frogman Records.
In the 10s, Mijk revisited his first love Funk with his projects mijkfunk and The Chaenge (together with Wareika singer Florian Schirmacher) as well as his Label nuFunkFiles and his radio show Motherfunk on BLN.fm.
Mijk van Dijk is now merging all his musical strengths into a sound of House, which includes his love for Boogie beats and basslines as well as his old school expertise and his trademark sounds from a musical career of over two decades. Microglobe is now Mijk's home for all the different shades of his musical style. There's the radio podcast show music 4 the microglobe and his new label Microglobe Productions.
Mijk van Dijk was already called Multi-Mijk in the early 90s by Germany’s leading Techno mag Frontpage. Which is now more true than ever before.

“Oliver Marquardt (DJ Jauche / Jack Flash / Robin Masters Orchestra / Machomovers / Rockford Inc.)”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Oliver Marquardt (DJ Jauche / Jack Flash / Robin Masters Orchestra / Machomovers / Rockford Inc.) Born in East Berlin, Oliver Marquardt was first inspired to become a DJ when the 1984 Break Dance Film "Beat Street" permeated the city's isolated music scene. Equally influential was the dance music he listened to broadcasted from West Berlin radio. After closely following these new music styles - hip hop, acid house etc - Oliver bought his own pair of turntables in 1989. This was right after the Berlin wall came down, providing fertile soil for the city's new underground music scene to take roots and by the following year Oliver was organizing his own techno parties. Although his illegal warehouse parties (complete with 50k watt laser lights) were noteworthy in themselves, Oliver forged ahead as one of the first german DJs to establish a nationwide presence. DJ Jauche, as he is known, began a residency at Berlin's legendary „Walfisch“ Club. Also he played regularly at many other Berlin Underground Clubs. By the mid 90's he had presented his unique style throughout Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Spain, Greece, Russia, Hungary and Malaysia, on top of countless clubs and events in his homeland. Also mid 90's (1995 exactly) he had started his party "Jauchomatic" ( where he brought his brother Sven Marquardt into the club scene and gave him his first job as a "selector/doorkeeper" . Today Sven is famous for his work as an Artist and Photographer and of course as the " Iron Man" selector of Ostgut and now Berghain Club. ) and also the „Jet Stream Club“ and later the „Night Dimensions“ Party - Series. Oliver still does his party „ Jauchomatic“ once a year in Berlin, which are welcome between 550 - 700 Guests every Year. He plays music from 1988 until 1995, from house over techno to some Oldschool Trance Tracks, Acid and Breakbeats. While the rest of the world still has been associating Germany with its stark techno output, DJ Jauche nurtured a parallel space for deep house sounds to evolve. In 1998 he launched Jetstream, a small-scale record label of his own. For the 1999 edition of the annual summer festival Loveparade, Oliver prepared under the name Jack Flash a re-edit of the disco classic "Love is in the Air" and pressed 500 white label copies. When the track became an underground hit, he approached the production team Milk & Sugar (who were running a label under the same name) for advice on giving it a bigger release. Without Oliver's knowledge and with a bigger budget they appointed the track's original singer John Paul Young to record new vocals for their own version of the track and received a worldwide major label re-release in 2001, accompanied by a music video. Frustratingly, Jack Flash did not receive proper due, but since his passion was for music and not money, nothing could diminish his commitment. During the early days of a new millennium, DJ Jauche continued developing Berlin's thriving techno scene, throwing parties with his friends at „Sage Club“ and later at the „Ostgut“. He invited many different Musicans ( singers, bassplayers, percussions, sax, trumpets and many more ) to his parties, to sing and play life to his Music, which he played as Dj. Oliver debuted his new project Robin Masters Orchestra to showcase his own production paired with various guest vocalists. He also continued to champion deep house with Extreme Couching Mix CD series released on DJ SETS now on its fourth edition. In his studio, he stayed busy working with co-producer Björn Brandt, releasing not only as Jack Flash but also the newer alias Machomovers, best known for their club hit "Jägermeister" from the 2003 album Sexy on Sonntag Music. Around this time Oliver expanded his repertoire by producing, mixing and arranging Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft's 15 Neue DAF Lieder, the bands first album in almost two decades. Over the years DJ Jauche has also completed numerous remixes, including for the seminal german punk band Die Ärzte, NYC rave pioneer Frankie Bones and Berlin fellow Marusha. In 2004, DJ Jauche began hosting his own radio show "Sophisticated House" on Nova Radio Munich and had recurring Dj Night at Berlin's elegant Spindler&Klatt in addition to play throughout Europe. In 2006, the second Machomovers album "Bare Deep and Long" appeared , plus a new mix compilation "Casual Moods" featuring german deep house producers, as well as Oliver's new label "Appeal Musique" . The first two releases of both Releases were licensed by Ibiza's "Cafe del Mar". 2008 he started releasing new music under the project " Rockford Inc." First release was on Jay Haze's label "Roots/Tunning Spork", followed by the Album release of Desney Bailey "Meant to be" and he also released some vinyls and remixes under the name " Robin Masters Orchestra" . In the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 Oliver released under both projects different EP's and Remixes. 2013 DJ Jauche was invited giving interviews for a book about the early days of techno music, especially in Berlin, called "Klang der Familie". Also another Documentory about him and his Life for „Deutsche Welle“ was made in 2013. He has also been a part of the Arte TV Documentary "Tanz auf dem Todesstreifen" which was shown on tv in the summer of 2014. In 2015 DJ Jauche has started working on a second album for Singer „Desney Bailey“ and finished the work mid of 2017. Also in 2017 he have started to release his new Album on his own new label "Flaneur". First 3 Albumsamplers was released on Vinyl til the end of 2017. In 2018 Oliver released part four of his Album and made also a new Edit release on Kaskadeur Records, which was sold out before it was released. In May 2018 he Start to release his new Album „ Backseat Stories“ and still continue playing in clubs like „Suicide Circus“ „Sysiphos“ „Ritter Butzke“ „The Egg / London“, „Soho House“ and many more...

“It all beguns 1984 with a visit at a cinema in East Germany, the movie 'Beat Street' .”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
It all beguns 1984 with a visit at a cinema in East Germany, the movie 'Beat Street' . The story about the very early HipHop Culture in New York flashed him. It where not the raps, not the wild breakdances, but the electric funky sound of this movie, which keeped him interested in electronic music. In 1989 he moved to Dresden to study at the university. There he visits an event whith DJ Westbam and first time he heard about a style named TECHNO. Rocco met with the Organizators of that event and they told him about a new club they will open, THE FABRIQUE. The scene in 1990 was really small, the club was totaly underground and non-professional and he starts to work there as a bouncer. But in every free minutes of his live he mixed already his records at home and starts to make tapes. The boss of the club listened once of them, and decided to give him a chance to play in the morning. It was succesfull, and he became now a resident of the club in 1992. In the next years he played in different citys of East Germany, in 1994 follows the first Gig im West-Germany at the Club M1 in Stuttgart, one year later the first international Gig in Club Radost in Prague. In 1996 he opens his own club, THE OBJECT. It became one of the most important clubs in East Germany with high classed bookings. Artist like DJ Hell, Allen Alien, Kevin Saunderson, MonikaKruse, Terrence Parker, Tom Clark, Mijk van Dijk, Derrick May, Dr. Motte, Steve Bug and for sure Westbam played at this venue, an old garage for tanks in a former russian military base in Dresden. Westbam invited him to play in 1997 to the Mayday -The Sonic Empire and Doorkeeper travelled to his first gig at the american continent in San Francisco. One year later Dr Motte invited Rocco to play at the Love Parade Opening Rave LICHT & LIEBE, and he had his first trip to the african continent to play in some towns in South Africa. In 2000 he released together with DJ Stereo Jack his first Records at Superstition Records in Hamburg. Soon he moved to Berlin, played in clubs like Tresor, Casino, Maria and the legendary SO 36 and became a member of the Kiddaz.fm-Records Crew. He released there some records under the monliker KEEP IT STEREO. They became really succesfull, especially in Japan, so he played in 2002 some gigs in Tokio. At the same year he played first time in Moscow, made some remixes for DJ Emerson and a russian project named LATOR, and visited as the first international DJ the legendary Kazantip-Festival in Ukraine. In 2004 he organised together with Monika Kruse the NO HISTORICAL BACKSPIN TOUR in 10 citys of Germany against neofascism an intolerance. All artists like Thomas Schumacher, Technasia, Paul van Dyk, Asem Shama, Patrick Lindsey, Tom Clark, DJ Hell, Chris Liebing, T.P. Heckmann, Len Faki, Pascal FEOS and many more donate their fee to an organisation, which helps victims of rassistic violence to get professional helps from good lawyers. The next years he travelled for a lot of gigs to Russia , Poland and Ukraine. There he could find exactly the audience he needs. So it was not a wonder, that he dicided to move in 2011 to live in the beautiful city of Odessa. His sets are always influenced by timeless and modern music, a travel through the history and future of electronic music, with skills of the early DJ-Culture like scratches and beatjugglings. In Ukraine the clubowners call him a monster, cause he is playing never less than 3 hours and you can be sure: if the audience agrees with his sounds, he played 6 hours and more, until the record players starts to burn!
