their own biography
the whole biography
It is1993 when Dole meets Kom in Berlin’s Delirium record store, where both work as vinyl dealers. Complementary music taste and an evolving friendship are the basis for numerous mutual DJ gigs at all the mayor clubs around, like Tresor, E-Werk or WMF. Producing under the moniker Clubheroes, their first single ‘Dum Dum’ is released on Chicago’s prestigious Relief Records. Also, they join the artist roster of legendary Formaldehyd Records. The own label BCC Music is the next step in their artistic career. Founded in 1996, it is the creative launching pad for a massive output. The duo’s probably most famous project is Studio 45 with tracks being released on Azuli, Nervous Records and David Morales’ Definity Records. Under the name Studio 45, Dole & Kom play DJ and live sets all around the world, the title ‘Freak It’ even hits the Top 40 in the UK. In 2004 Dole & Kom start another label: Death By Disco. Already the first EP ‘Any Fuckin’ Nite’ becomes a bombastic banger on Europe’s club dance floors, the following 12” releases receive great feedback, as well. Their refined productions raise more and more interest within the scene, various EPs are released on labels like Bondage Music, Tsuba, Force Tracks, Schatten, Ostwind, Superfancy and Session Deluxe. Just before the year 2011 comes to an end, ‘New Jack Nation’, featuring the vocals of Chicago’s House music legend Tyree Cooper, hits the clubs. With their unique and independent style Dole & Kom match the musical ideal of Acker Records perfectly. There, they release their EP "Trompetenkrähe". 2012 they become an inherent part of the 3000° ensemble, perform at the legendary Wanderzirkus, Fusion, the 3000°Festival, SOS U.Ground, Wannda Land, Thuishaven Festival (NL), Lethargie Festival (CH), Kee Club (HK), KB 18 (DK) and the successful 3000° Records Clubtour. They release EPs on Voltage Musique Records, Jett Records, Bondage Music, Your So Sweet, Spielgold, Karera Records and their europewide club hits "Quetschkommode" on Acker Records and Phara - Oh on 3000° Records. Dole & Kom are also popular remixers what led to requests of Karera Records, Ahoi Audio, Acker, Superfancy, Treibjagd, Beatwax, My Little Dog, Shibiza, Shoes, Bags And Boys. In "real life" Dole & Kom are leading the Berlin Branch of the Electronic Music School. There they pass their knowledge of music production in Workshops and producing lessons on to interested pupils. Quiet recently the guys got together with Berlin artist and singer Kollmorgen. The collaboration resulted in a release of Silence with Remixes by Seth Schwarz and Mollono.Bass on 3000Grad Records and several live shows all over Germany. The next step of the two workaholics is planned to be a 12“ together with Seth Schwarz, a new EP on Spielgold Records and their Remix for „The End“ from Monolink & Acid Pauli on 3000Grad Records.Their RA profile lists Capital Heaven, Azuli, Mercury, Relief Records and 6 more.Recently at Gestrandet An Der Jannowitzbrücke, Süss War Gestern, Birgit · often with Oliver Raumklang, DJ with Soul, Hanebüchener, none of them here on Saturday

their own biography
the whole biography
Born in West Berlin BassDee got in touch with dance music in the late 80ies, a few years before the Berlin Wall came down. The G.I. Disco influences on the Kurfürstendamm Diskotheken, the engulfing Hip Hop movement and suddenly the Acid House wave aroused his inspiration to perform as a DJ. So he bought his first records at the PINKY record store, scratched together all his money to buy turntables to win the first merits in the science of mixing. The year 1989 changed his world inconceivably, when Monika Dietl was performing the best Dance Music Show at the West Berlin SFB 2 radio station, DJ Jon Magic Jonzon was spinning eternal house sets at the Berlin UFO Club, and the newly opened Hard Wax record store supplied unknown House Music from Chicago, Detroit and New York. BassDee´s first DJ club gig was at a Dubmission Party in 1991. In 1992, he started the Bassterror Project focussed on Breakbeat together with his brother DJ Feed and Alec Empire, while at the same time playing House and Techno at legendary clubs like the Berlin ELEKTRO (Resident), Friseur (Resident) or Tresor, and the Potsdam Waschhaus, where the Hard Wax DJs René and Pete shaped the probably most futuristic techno nights of that time. The enormous power of the breakbeat science hidden in the the big 1994 Jungle boom fueled things even further. In 1994 he started the admired Drum&Bass show "Radio Massive" together with Thaddeus Hermann at the Berlin Kiss FM station. His next major project was the Case Invaders record label initiated with DJ Bleed. Beside his residencies at the Berlin WMF, Elektro, Friseur, Toaster and Icon he dejayed at the same time in Berlins Clubs like 103, E-Werk, Maria, Ostgut, Cookies, Suicide, amongst others. As one of the creators of the famous Berlin "hard:edged" nights, he tremendously shaped Berlin's Drum&Bass scene. Since Drum&Bass somehow lost its edge, he found his way back to the enthusiastic embrace of House and Techno and returned with full enthusiasm to the Berlin club scene playing at places such as the Panorama Bar, Ohm, Palomabar, Acud, about:blank, Gretchen, Prince Charles, Horst Krzberg, WMF, M12,... BassDee recently joined the Hidden Hawaii crew and co-produced the critically acclaimed “Veteranenstraße EP“ together with Felix K.Their RA profile lists Hidden Hawaii and Nullpunkt Records.Recently at Paloma, Weltwirtschaft am HKW, Beate Uwe · often with Sven von Thülen, Souljahsista Tausi (Ladieschoiceintl), Felix K, none of them here on Saturday

Mike Dub - formerly known as Little M - had his first contact with electronic dance music in 1991 as he was listening to Marusha's radio show "Dance Hall" on the famous radio station DT64. Since that moment, as he heard that track called "Weekend" by DJ Dick, Mike Dub should never get away from DJ culture and electronic music anymore. An own record collection had to be built up, a first set of turntables had to be bought and deejaying had to be tried out. In October of 1992 Mike had his first gig at a youth club called "Sky West" in Pirna (near Dresden) and played Hip Hop music by Public Enemy, 2Live Crew and Eric B. & Racim… In March of 1993 it came to his first club residency as he was asked to spin some records on Sundays at the "Sachs Music Hall" - the first and the biggest discotheque in Saxony ant that time. From now on his popularity in and around Dresden expanded quickly. Within the first two years he got gigs in almost every club and location in east Saxony, and later even in Berlin, Nürnberg and the Czech Republic. In 1994 Mike got his second residency at the Musikfabrik - a truly legendary dance club in Saxony, well known even beyond state borders because of DJ Hardsequencer's (a.k.a. Hardy Hard) "Friday Scene" Radio Shows. This dance club had a unique flair and was so popular, that, as the dance club unfortunately burned down in 1998, even weeks later were found flowers, CD's and soft toys laid down at the former entrance stairs… In the meantime Little M began to play more and more House music and finally became resident DJ at the infamous "Vivito Kicks" parties at the Parkhotel dance club in Dresden. Till 1996 Mike had become one of the most booked DJ's in Saxony, appreciated for his well balanced and crunchy pumpin sound. Every Star-DJ that visited Dresden - from Paul van Dyk through Westbam to Sven Väth - could rely on a perfect warmed up crowd…, prepared by Little M, of course! At this time he had produced some tracks together with Hardy Hard - some of them even appeared on local club samplers. But, as Hardy moved to Berlin and to Low Spirit records, this connection broke apart quickly. Since then Mike played at many small clubs and big events and presented a wide spread repertoire from House, Electro, Chillout to finest Detroit Techno. Finally, in 1999, he became resident DJ at the Kilowatt -the only serious Techno club of Dresden at that timeand stayed there until it's closing in 2002. In the meanwhile he had various gigs at the discotheque Dance Factory where he finally met L-X-Carbo. Quickly they discovered their almost identical understanding of progressive, smooth and groovy Techno music and started to write their first tracks together…Recently at Der Weiße Hase · often with Franco Pump, none of them here on Saturday

German techno artist Henriko S. Sagert is a master of the electronic music scene and hails from the energetic city of Berlin. With his pulsating beats and rich soundscapes, he has carved out a place for himself in the techno sub-genre and gained a passionate following for electronic music. Henriko draws inspiration from Berlin's long history of techno to create a unique blend of powerful rhythms and ethereal soundscapes in his music. Each of his tracks is a testament to his attention to detail and superb production skills, taking the listener on a truly captivating sonic journey. His powerful DJ sets and mixing skills keep every foot on the dance floor moving. Henriko started spinning vinyl records in the early 1990s and had his first official gigs in Berlin techno clubs like Walfisch, Praxis Dr. McCoy and Bunker in 1992. In 1994 he played at the famous DORIAN GRAY at the BASF DJ Contest and came 4th in the final. Earlier in the day, he took 1st place in the semifinals at Berlin's Pleasure Dome. Afterwards he played at the Berlin radio station Kiss FM and reported after his set about this great event. However, Henriko's biggest performance was probably at the legendary Melt! festival in 2015, where Sven Väth, Marek Hemmann, Ellen Allien, Nina Kraviz, Modeselektor, Markus Kavka and Chris Liebing also performed. Henriko has been producing his own music since 2004. His first remix for Nicolas Neyret was released on Ambber Records in 2015. "For Peace (2020)", one of his hits, is an example of his own aesthetic and musical imagination. Henriko's ability to create a captivating listening experience is evident in this single, which captivates with its hypnotic beats and sophisticated melodies. "Rock You (2019)", another outstanding hit from Henriko S. Sagert, combines pulsating rhythms and infectious energy to create an exhilarating techno experience. In the meantime he has also remixed tracks for other well-known artists such as D.A.V.E. The Drummer and Adam Cooper and released numerous productions on various record labels. To sum up, Henriko S. Sagert’s tracks are examples for how he can produce captivating electronic music with a passion that surprises again and again. Since 2021 Henriko and his label partner run the record label Electronic Music Event - EME Records, which was founded in 2019.Their RA profile lists LW Recordings.Recently at Der Weiße Hase, Musikbrauerei · often with Wiebe Roose, BioTec, DJ Surprise, none of them here on Saturday
