Studio Weißensee presents: Our First Open Recording
For the past year and a half, Studio Weißensee has been a home for electronic music in Berlin. A space where artists can be themselfes, share their sound, and connect with their friends and followers in our living-room.
But the true magic of electronic music doesn’t just happen behind the decks. It lives on the dancefloor, in shared glances, collective energy, and the connection between the booth and the crowd.
For the very first time, we are taking this vision a step further. We are capturing the soul of a special night. We want to make the energy of the room visible through a video recording.
- CAMERA & PRIVACY POLICY -
We are filming the event to capture the overall atmosphere, raw energy, and connection in the room. However, your comfort is our priority:
We use a reduced, non-intrusive camera setup.
No individual faces or close-ups will be filmed without explicit consent.
Focus remains on wide shots, shadows, hands, and the collective motion of the crowd.
- SAFER SPACES & AWARENESS -
Studio Weißensee is a safe space for everyone. We have a zero-tolerance policy against racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any form of harassment and non-consensual behavior.
- Always ask for consent.
- Respect personal boundaries.
- If you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or notice someone who needs help, please reach out to our Awareness Team / Bar Staff immediately. We are here for you.

their own biography
the whole biography
Born in Paris, raised in Hong Kong, and now rooted in Berlin, his sound carries a mix of places, eras, and energies and he is drawn to music that feels physical but emotional at the same time. His sets often move between rolling grooves, euphoric melodies, trippy percussion, chunky basslines, and those strange in-between records that do not sit neatly in one genre but make perfect sense in the room. There is a strong digging element to what he does, with a focus on forgotten records, overlooked B-sides, and tracks from a time when house, trance, prog, and breaks were all bleeding into each other in weird and exciting ways. Over the last few years, he has become a familiar name in Berlin’s underground circuit, playing at places like Sisyphos, Watergate, KaterBlau, KitKat, RSO, Wilde Renate, HÖR, and more, alongside appearances outside the city in Copenhagen, Munich, Hamburg, Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and London. Whether it is a club set, a sunrise slot, or something more DIY and intimate, he is always chasing that old-school feeling in dance music: records that make people move without losing that emotional pull. As a producer, Aimé You brings the same old-school prog feeling into his own music, blending driving drums, wide pads, acid lines, breaks, and emotional hooks into tracks that feel both nostalgic and current. His releases and remixes are rooted in the same world as his DJ sets: dance music with feeling, weight, and a bit of drama, made for sweaty rooms and long nights.Their RA profile lists Heart2Hearts.Recently at frachtkante, Fitzroy, Chausseestrasse 131 · often with HugoXL, Daisy Weweh, cun_t, none of them here on Friday
