DEEP CULTURE is a celebration of deep techno and the underground culture surrounding it.

Built around the deeper, darker and more hypnotic sides of techno, the event explores rolling grooves, subtle percussion, immersive atmospheres and evolving textures from deep and mental techno to raw, hypnotic and atmospheric sounds.

More than a party, DEEP CULTURE is a space for transmission. A way of keeping underground culture alive through sound, artists and dancefloors connecting different generations, influences and visions of techno.

In a scene constantly evolving, we believe in preserving its roots while giving space to new voices. DEEP CULTURE is about the music, the people behind it, and the culture that continues to grow around the dancefloor.

Line-up TBA.

Blazej Malinowski Blazej Malinowski Take any of Blazej Malinowski’s numerous projects—his wide-ranging productions, powerful DJ or live sets, events, radio shows or record label Inner Tension—and you will find the same ethos at the core. They’re all built on a passion for creating uplifting moments through electronic music, and on an open-mindedness to explore, collaborate and evolve. Malinowski started DJing in early 2000s Warsaw, while eagerly discovering early US house and techno music. Together with his friend Michał Wolski, Malinowski started the Fünfte Strasse Project as an event series and radio show. From there, gigs quickly began to flow. His skills behind the decks stood out, and before long Malinowski was playing across Poland and around the world, delivering beloved sets of driving, contemporary techno. While developing an uncompromising musical identity as a DJ, Malinowski began to translate his nuanced interpretation of techno, ambient and experimental music into productions. His first released works landed in 2012, laying the groundwork for records on acclaimed labels such as The Gods Planet, Svreca’s Semantica and Claudio PRC’s 012. Fast forward to today and Malinowski is a go-to name for tripped-out, psychedelic grooves for pitch-black dancefloors. Despite his acclaim as a techno artist, Malinowski holds the more experimental side of his craft in equal standing. He is the founder of the A/V event series Why So Silent?, which pairs electronic music with silent movies, and also continues to push his boundaries through collaborations, such as the leftfield duo Keen Distress, or B2B sets. Though Malinowski recently made the move to Berlin in order to fully realise his ambitions, he remains as committed as ever to his native Poland’s musical landscape, holding down a residency at Jasna1 and tirelessly championing the country’s cultural history and vibrant scene. From his new home, a global hub for dance music, Malinowski is pushing himself to explore the full range of possibilities within techno’s ever-evolving framework.
Their RA profile lists Semantica Records, Affin, Silent Season, Phorma and 6 more.

  • Hitam

“Hitam is an Amsterdam-based artist, label owner, and resident of Eerste Communie, known for crafting immersive sonic worlds where deep techno, ambient, and avant-garde experimentalism converge.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Hitam is an Amsterdam-based artist, label owner, and resident of Eerste Communie, known for crafting immersive sonic worlds where deep techno, ambient, and avant-garde experimentalism converge. His work moves beyond genre, operating as a form of aural architecture, sculpting frequencies and textures into spaces that evoke both ritual and revelation. Within his music, ancient echoes and futuristic resonances intertwine. Field recordings, modular synthesis, and fragmented tribal samples are treated as raw minerals, forged into rhythmic landscapes that breathe and shift like living ecosystems. Hitam’s sound often evokes swamps and mountains, forgotten shrines, subterranean crypts, and dreamlike wetlands. Spaces where the boundaries between the human and the elemental dissolve. These are shamanic environments; haunted, yet vital, inviting the listener to traverse them as one would traverse an ancient rite or an unfamiliar terrain. As the founder of Rhiza Semar, Hitam has developed an imprint guided by three interwoven pillars: geological, ritualistic, and esoteric. Through this framework, the label acts as both vessel and mirror, extending into graphic design, visual art, and sound curation that reflects the same mythic consciousness present in his compositions. Every release becomes a continuation of the same vast underworld narrative, where sound functions as matter and time folds back into itself. His DJ sets at institutions like Tresor, Bassiani, De School, K41 and live performances at Awakenings Nxt Museum and STOOR, among others, transform the dancefloor into a liminal zone of trance and transformation. Beneath their precision lies an undercurrent of raw instinct: a rhythmic invocation that bridges the cerebral and the physical, the sacred and the feral. In Hitam’s world, music is not entertainment but excavation. A means of unearthing the primal and the transcendent that lie buried within the listener. Each piece invites immersion into a realm of shadow and light, where one becomes both the seeker and the sound itself.
