Eklekt1k’s relationship with bass music was shaped early through vinyl culture and hands-on DJ practice. By her mid-teens, she was already recording mixes rooted in breakbeat, jungle, drum & bass, and ragga jungle, laying the foundation for a sound defined by pure rhythmic complexity and low-end weight. After some period away from the decks, she returned with renewed focus, and in 2024 launched a bi-weekly residency in Funkhaus Berlin on Etikett Radio. Marking the start of her current chapter as an active selector, resident and curator. Those early influences continue to define her sound today — grounded in soundsystem culture, broken rhythms, and a balance between deep listening and dancefloor pressure. Her selections have travelled widely across international airwaves, with guest appearances on Operator Radio (Rotterdam), Relate Radio (Groningen), Radio Flouka (Paris), SVARA Radio (Liverpool) Refuge Worldwide (Berlin), among others. Rooted in soundsystem culture and driven by experimental club aesthetics, her sets typically orbit between 140–180 BPM, weaving broken rhythms, cinematic textures, and heavy low-end into emotionally charged yet dancefloor-conscious journeys. Groove and tension sit side by side, with an emphasis on mood, weight, and spatial movement. As a producer, she currently explores her sound through two parallel personas: one focused on experimental, deconstructed, analog-driven compositions, and the other leaning into high-energy, bass-heavy club music built for impact. fisk is a genre-fluid DJ, promoter, sound engineer and artist navigating club, experimental and bass music for almost a decade. Working with self-recorded samples, she chops, processes and re-samples her material into textured, low-end-driven constructions. Since making music for self indulgence, it has restored pleasure and weirdness to her work. fisk’s practice moves between exhibition and stage, merging activism and artistic expression, rooted in the DIY. As a DJ she plays a variety or music styes, weaving them into her distinctive approach to club and bass music. fisk has also been curating concerts and club nights in Berlin, championing eclectic and forward-thinking sounds, while battling the ever growing commercialisation of underground and organically grown culture and communities. - perfection is fake - rhythm is life - Part of AL.Berlin crew, a collective showcasing interdisciplinary events with live music, DJs and artists, with focus on contemporary music of West Asia & North Africa. His sound moves between dub techno, deep house, and hypnotic minimal grooves, with a strong focus on atmosphere, flow, and subtle intensity. Known for his immersive approach behind the decks, Migz builds sets that evolve gradually, drawing listeners into a deep, continuous journey. With a long-standing passion for digging for records, his vinyl collection plays a central role in shaping his identity and sound, resulting in carefully curated selections and authenticity over trends. Over the years, he has shared the booth with respected artists such as XDB, Fred P, Levon Vincent, Eduardo De La Calle, Zadig & more, holding his own alongside some of the most refined names in the underground scene.
