DJing quintessentially and producing for over a decade, Jamaica Suk has found rising prominence for her unique brand of seamless mixing and driving, psychedelic-meets-gritty techno. Jamaica’s work has always been built on discipline, deep sonic exploration, and a passionate connection to the scene. Hailing from San Francisco and based in Berlin, she quickly became a fixture of the German capital’s scene and built a vast network of underground communities across Europe and internationally. She’s centered her craft in the studio and behind the decks on the art of contrast – grimy industrial edge with meditative, consciousness-expanding dream worlds with no-holds-barred runaway energy. Jamaica’s voice always finds a timeless balance between the rawness of 90s techno traditions and boundary-pushing modern techniques. His journey began in 2014 when he founded the underground movement “TCC” in Córdoba, aimed at advancing Techno culture in Argentina. This endeavor paved the way for him to share stages with international artists, honing his craft and expanding his reach. Seeking broader horizons, he moved first to Buenos Aires and then to Barcelona, where he now devotes himself mostly to production in his studio. In 2023, Juan released three standout EPs that have left a mark on the scene: El Niño de los Ojos Tristes on Default Series, the Dark Matter EP on Enux Records, and the milestone Equilibrium EP on Tremsix, featuring a remix by Jonas Kopp that solidifies his growing reputation. Juan Evangelista possesses a distinct impetus and groove that define his music, resonating with audiences on the dancefloor. Over the past year, he has toured extensively, performing twice in the USA, an all-vinyl tour in Canada alongside Freddy K, as well as across South America like in Mexico alongside DVS1, a festival in Riga next to Svreca, many gigs in Berlin, and throughout Europe. In August, he made his debut in China. Filled with inspiration, Juan is set to take off and showcase his sound around the globe. In the year of 2012 Aamir started as a DJ and was fascinated by the power of music and its ability to connect people. Over the last years, he has developed an unconditional love for vinyl, always digging for new tracks while still keeping an eye on the good old classics. To mention just a few: Supermarket CH, Veniceberg IT, discobox AL and parties such as Graue Gasse, Terrazza, Residence K in Zurich and festivals across Europe. During the last years he played alongside artists such as Shonky, Thomas Melchior, Julian Perez, Robert Dietz, Nu Zau, and Cally which is always a great honor for him. Hailing from the deep swamplands of Southeast Finland, it’s no surprise Annina’s exposure to electronic music was found while traveling elsewhere - in fact, it was becoming involved in the Sydney scene which spawned her love for dance music, and ultimately inspired her move to Berlin in 2018. It was there she became focused on her groovy but upfront sound and met like-minded music heads eventually co-founding the minimal collective Zapped Berlin in 2021. Barbara Preisinger first began dj-ing in 1996 in her hometown of Munich and was playing regularly at the the green flokati room of the "ultraschall" club. in the Summer of 1998 Barbara left Munich for Berlin, where she started working as a freelance press and radio promoter for electronic music. In the years that followed she represented various labels and acts from the experimental music scene, ranging from straight clubsounds to electronic pop and indie-electronia. 1999 saw her co-found the label ˜scape, together with Stefan Betke aka Pole, creating an open platform for the productions of Kit Clayton, Jan Jelinek, Deadbeat, Pole amongst many others. Before long she was a resident dj at regular scape nights in berlin and other locations within europe, japan and also further afield in north america. Over the years her musical preferences as dj have changed and developed continuously to House and Techno. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno, all the while remaining open towards interesting and outstanding tunes that makes you move. And she has been doing exactly that at many a prestigious location around the globe including festivals as Sonar, Benicassim, DEMF, Club Transmediale Berlin, Mutek, Unsound Festival .....to mention but a few. Autumn 2009 Barbara Preisinger founded the 12inch vinyl label SLICES OF LIFE which is focused on organic sounding and diverse club music, with releases by Betke, Mike Huckaby, Baaz, John Tejada, The Mole, Dana Ruh, Losoul, Alexander Skancke,... The label´s founding year also marked the beginning of the event series DEEP IN THE BOX with regular parties at Berlin´s Club der Visionäre, Wilde Renate, Ipse among other places.
